"Convenient for ongoing mail order prescriptions. However, for some reason they run out of every prescription I need so refills are not always timely and in some cases never come at all. Calling to track down where an auto-refill is can be aggravating. There doesn’t seem to be anyone notifying customers that their medication is unavailable. Obviously, if you are taking something daily you don’t want to run out and suddenly being told it’s out of stock or running late on inquiry and then having to reach out to your doctor and have the prescription sent elsewhere is a pain and can take a while. Before having your doctor send a prescription here, I would recommend calling them first to be sure they actually have the medication in stock AND that they predict they will have an on going supply. Besides this, calling at different times results in different answers from different people. Pre-pandemic I used this pharmacy without issue, since it’s been hit or miss. As this has also occurred post-pandemic at larger pharmacies perhaps it’s just the way things are now?"

"Genoa on MLK is the best pharmacy I’ve ever encountered. I’m a senior citizen and I’ve been to more than a few pharmacies. Everyone at Genoa is friendly and helpful to a degree that’s rare. The pharmacists take their time to answer questions in a way that’s both comprehensive and comforting. I feel I am in good hands at Genoa."
