Reviews
"I'd give negative if I could . I have 2 open fractures and my prescription was sent in on Dec 12 here it is the 14th and it's still not ready. very unexceptionable."
"Negative -5 star review for female pharmacist on staff October 20th, 2023. Rude, unprofessional or compassionate. Unwilling to assist with filling a prescription in a timely manner. We have a daughter with intractable nauseau that needed anti nauseau medication before a flight and her answer was that she couldn't pause any activity to help us. Consequently we had to fly 4 hours without the meds our daughter needed. Love Fred Meyer, but use another pharmacy if possible. Providence in Hood River is a great facilty and we appreciate all they did to help our daughter including calling in the medication we couldn't pick up."
"This is my "go to" pharmacy.. my refills are always on time, and if there's an issue they are quick to let us know. Thank you team"
"The store here, prior to the expansion, was always chaotic at times but, with decent planning, you could get in and out if you ordered in advance. The biggest delay was the line and the tragic configuration of the parking lot. The new pharmacy, like the new store, is an epic disaster and a clear example of what can happen when a corporate owner decides to maximize profits over customer service. Even when an order is sent days in advance, it probably won't be ready. It seems like you have to make a personal appearance before they are even started. The text alerts for a filled prescription have gone from reliable to inconsistent to almost extinct. Call before you go. Now there are, apparently, also supplier issues for relatively common medications. Not the pharmacy's fault but choosing to guard that little tidbit of info like a Trump tax return IS. Tuesday, I believe, is the day the local assisted living type facilities bus our senior citizens over to do shopping and get medications. I have seen some of them wait for over an hour, easily and then leave without medication because they have a van to catch. This is is worst part because many of those folks do not have another option. I am not going to throw a huge fit (just this small to medium sized one) because it is pointless when Kroger knows enough people are stuck going to their pharmacy. This review won't make a difference to them but I always find a detailed description of a customer's grievances helpful when I choose where to shop, so hopefully it helps someone else. The bottom line, in my opinion, life is too darn short, if you can go somewhere else, I highly recommend it. There are at least three other options in the same zip code and several more over in Hood River. Some insurance companies even do mail order refills. Grocery options are about the same and they all have better parking. This place makes Wal Mart appealing."
"Fred Meyer is my regular pharmacy of choice. However, more recently, my opinion of the staff in The Dalles department has gained more respect. An employee, Abbi, has been the person I've dealt with most lately, and she is absolutely fantastic. Very polite and personal, has a wonderful personality. Tonight, I also talked to Melissa, another employee in the department. She was completely polite, and answered my several questions with grace and simplicity."
