"What in the hell is going on with Fred Meyers and their pharmacy people! I called in and was very nice and courteous to the lady on the phone. I wanted her to pull up my account and tell me if her location had the prescription I was needing to be filled. She asked for the name of the drug and I told her, she went into the doses and I asked her if she would pull up my account and it like I was asking her do something that she cannot do!"
"I have been going to this pharmacy for 10 years. I pick up prescriptions twice a month, plus whenever something else comes up from time to time. I have my regular prescriptions automated and receive text messages when they are ready for pick up. This is so easy. There are times when I have needed to pick up something for myself or a family member that is not part of the automated refill. In the 10 years I have been coming here... I have only had one issue. It was not one of their regular employees that I recognized. All of the technicians and staff are always friendly, and very speedy once I am at the counter. They always ask if I have any questions for the pharmacist. I just haven't had any issues and think they are great - 5 stars! The line does get backed up at times, and I expect that to happen sometimes. Some customers have some circumstances that require extra time and assistance. I understand that. Once they get to me, they are always friendly and expeditious. None of the staff has ever been rude to me in 10 years, going at least twice a month. They have always been friendly. Every. Single. Time. *****Salmon Creek Fred Meyer Pharmacy is 5 STARS! *****"
"They are friendly and are always working hard but they are always too busy and would benefit from more personnel. Also it affects their ability to keep appointments for vaccinations and I’be had to cancel when they couldn’t get us in within 20 minute of our scheduled time."
"Jennifer is the sweetest Pharmacy Technician there, She’s always been very kind to me and has a beautiful smile (without a mask on.) She has always been very understanding and always seems like she’s having the best day. She knows how to do her job and she is always running around the Pharmacy trying to get me my prescription as soon as possible, she deserves a pay raise ASAP. She is also very beautiful and I love her hair."
"I have been going to this pharmacy my entire 25 years of life, and it has just really gone down hill lately. The wait times are generally long, which I do not mind. It is not the staffs fault they are busy, short staffed etc especially right now. However I do have a problem with the lack of communication about time sensitive prescriptions, not filling prescriptions on time and being talked to like I am incompetent by the staff. I call in my prescriptions several days before I need them because they are time sensitive and I don't want to worry about it not being filled on time. Since my Doctor prescribes several months in advance I can only see online how many refills I had when it was written and not how many are remaining. Normally when I have run out of refills when I call to get my prescription done the pharmacist will let me know and either the pharmacy or myself will request it from my doctor and it gets taken care of. Just another reason I always call in advance and talk to an actual person. I went about the same thing this week, called a few days prior and they told me it would be done the next day by 2:00pm. I waited two days to go pick it up (today) and when I got there they informed me I only had one filled and it was not the time sensitive one I needed. I asked why and she said I did not have any refills left, which happens, but then I asked why I hadn't been told when I called it in days ago because I could have easily reached out myself to the doctor to have it redone right away. She ignored that question and said they had requested it but had not heard back yet, which again is fine if they would have communicated it with me initially that it even needed to be done and my prescription would not actually be done when they said it would be. I tried to explain to her it was frustrating because this is not the first time things have not been ready on time lately, and especially today because I was staying up north for a few weeks between apartments and it was a pretty far drive to the pharmacy. Now I would have to do it again because I need the medication as soon as possible. She replied to that with "then why don't you find a closer pharmacy" I again said that it was not a permanent situation and she cut me off and said "yeah you should find a new pharmacy" So I guess I will. Definitely do not recommend unless you like being talked down to over medication you need to live a comfortable life."
