"Eileen and Jake do a great job running this commercial/community theatre. They get great first-run shows but they also host community events, have a wonderful outdoor venue for concerts and fairs and make great popcorn. The ambiance is kinda artsy/retro and the place is not to be missed!"

"Vashon Theatre is one of my favorite theater experiences ever. I do not like the AMC/bland corporate theater experiences to the extent that I stopped going to theaters for years. After moving my family to Vashon in April, I once again remember how film can be wonderful. Just go there. It’s a great place to see a film."

"Me and my boyfriend had an incredible experience here. we went to go see Mario in 3D and I had a really lovely time. I love the small intimate feel of a one screen theater and at the same time there was a large seating area with all your typical 1 tiered viewing options. We ordered popcorn and two beers and it was under 25. I came back later for a refill a soda and another beer and my total was under $15. The service was friendly and prompt. Restrooms are located on the 2nd floor. The box office opens something like 30 minutes before the movie shows and the line for concessions gets long FAST and the person who was serving us was super fast and I could tell you was in the zone. I'll be back probably for the Vashon movie fest happening here very soon."

"Great independent theatre! Concessions are a good deal. Wide range of snacks and drinks (including wine, beer, and cider). Staff is always friendly. The theatre itself is adorable and feels like stepping into the 1960's! ❤️❤️❤️"

"We are so lucky to have such an amazing movie theatre on this Island. The quality is top notch and I love seeing all sorts of films here, including National Theatre Live which is awesome. Even many of the big multiplexes in Seattle don't show stuff like that! I have so many fond memories at Vashon Theatre and I wish it and it's employees the best of luck for the future."
