"Would not recommend this therapist. My sister went to this woman after getting the run-around with the VA for a couple of YEARS …. Only to be discharged the second visit as SOON as she showed up. Her 1st visit was mainly paperwork and about a 15 minute appt. Dr. Thorpe claimed she had to cancel the rest of their sessions as she had a heart condition and couldn’t deal with any stress during her appts. ? What? Isn’t this what therapy is for - to talk about your stressors, get them off your chest and heal? She also added the excuses that she “only worked with children” and was “getting ready to retire.” I have no idea how my sister (who is an adult veteran) ended up with this person!"

"Referred by my PCP for evaluation of symptoms of ADHD. I didn't get past the "interview" (her words) or much further than her writing down my name. She self-admittedly does not communicate with her "billing lady" - also her only contact with the outside world. She does not have an email nor does she know anyone else's, including her staff. She is a religious extremist whose church forbids her use of the Internet. Her office is floor-to-ceiling religious and nationalist paraphernalia. Because my visit was so brief, I wouldn't normally leave a review, but if you've ever suffered abuse under the church, then you deserve a warning. If I'd known what it was going to be like, I'd have asked for a different referral."

"Definately needs a different job. Worst imitation of a Ph D we have ever seen!!!! Terrible!! Mimics you in cartoon voices. Puts you down. Belittles you. Has NO empathy or compassion!"

"Terrible therapist. For example, knowing nothing about someone, starts a session with speak up I was shooting guns yesterday...speaks to her intelligence (who doesn't use ear protection) as well as lack of candor, what if said patient had firearm related ptsd? She really neene to retire, people deserve far better than her."
