Pacific Walk Townhomes

"Moving my review from 1 Star to 2. Management is now friendly, maintenance is understaffed so they don't get to things unless I physically go into the office and talk to the office ladies, but after that my issues get resolved in a day or two, sometimes within the hour. Rent is more expensive than it should be, houses are cheaper to rent but there are never any house rentals available, I suppose they know this, which is why they justify raising the rent over 100 dollars every year. The garbage area gets dumped into by the neighborhood communities, and it piles up over the weekend to where you can't even step into the area, so you're forced to contribute to the pile or wait till Monday, leaving your stinky garbage inside your house, which no one will be willing to do, ever. I was informed today that they are trying to do something about it, but it's affecting our garbage bill heavily. That being fixed and my garbage bill going down will earn an extra star. I shouldn't be upcharged because of a problem I do not cause. I even clean the pile up some Saturdays."

"I have 3 kids, the apartment was infested with mice. I had to call the health department due to my kids getting sick constantly. I had to miss so much work, was late on rent because I couldn't afford it after missing so much work to take the kids to the ER. They offered me a mutual termination after I called the health department, I took it off course but I had 14 days to be out. Now I am homeless with 3 kids and had to quit my job all together to try and find something closer to where I am. Needless to say, since we've left, my kids all seem healthier then they ever were living there. Cops are always called on someone, gun shots, my car has it's tires slashed. Not a good place to live."

"This is a mice infested, mold and mildew, bad for allergies! Hidden fees, gun shots heard daily, homeless hang out by garbage, they want money and do not care about you. Don't expect a deposit back. I stayed too long due to older and single income. Never again"

"I was a little nervous when I first toured Pacific Walk a year ago when I was apartment hunting, because the tour was great, the apartment was nice, and the office staff were friendly, but when I got home and started looking at reviews, I was definitely concerned. I talked to them about their reviews, and got the impression they were working hard to turn things around. Decided to take a chance and sign a lease, especially since it was cheaper rent than several of the other places I had been looking at. A year later, I can say that I've just renewed my lease for a second year, and could not be happier at pacific walk! My rent is barely increasing this second year, and I haven't had any of the issues I saw in some of the negative reviews. Furthermore, what issues I have had, were all resolved insanely fast (I've put in 2-3 service/maintenance requests in the last year, and they've all been resolved the very next day before I even got home from work). The grounds are kept clean, the communication from the office is great, the appliances are a tad old but still run fine, all in all they definitely seem to have turned things around. The only issues I've ever had have been with the parking situation; sometimes it can be a little rough on the holidays, or sometimes I can't park in my usual spot if I get home later than normal. But even then, it typically ends up being a difference of an extra 20feet from my apartment, I've never had a problem not being able to find a spot at all. It's pretty comparable to most of my friend's apartments, although could definitely be a little better. But it's certainly not bad enough to dock a star. These apartments are great, and I definitely recommend not letting the negative reviews stop you from taking a look."
