Echelon Apartments

"I have lived at the Echelon Apartments for 2 years and am very comfortable here. The apartments are well laid out and spacious. The people who live here are friendly. I have had excellent response and service from the staff any time I have had a concern. The management staff (Aileena and Carie) are kind and professional. They listen and respond to the needs of the residents and often have events for the residents to participate in to help create a community here. The maintenance crew are prompt and courteous. The grounds are kept clean and groomed, which helps to make the complex feel like home."

"Management is great (specifically Carie!), . I was looking into moving to Lakewood and this was one of many complex's I looked at. Carie was quick to respond and do her best to address any and all questions I had. When viewing the apartment I felt comfortable with how Carie presented herself and conducted the showing of the apartment. I was also very impressed with the layout and how clean the landscape is. Great job to the management team."

"Moved out from this place. This office barely tends to you as a resident and does not care about you once you start the move out process. No one answers emails. Why even have staff. Gate is usually broken. These people do not care about being lazy and making mistakes at your expense. Kaeli Randolph the Assistant Manager was rude, unprofessional, impatient and getting upset while on phone. She Definitely needs training about professionalism and manners. We had people warn us not to live here. Please heed my warning and find another place."

"Literally the most incompetent apartment complex I have ever, unfortunately, stayed at. Disregarding the abhorrent parking situation, the gym being treated like a playground by residents (unattended) children, or how the “gated community” road gates break every other day & allow foot traffic 24/7, the worst part is probably how the management will attempt to scam you out of your money when you move out. Be extremely wary of renting here, and if you stupidly choose to, ensure you’re educated on the landlord & tenant laws of Washington State, as the management here will attempt to extort money from you at any chance they get. My best advice: choose somewhere else. There are cheaper & safer options available. Don’t settle for this."

"Echelon Apartments is a nice complex in a great location. We lived here for 6 months until our home was ready and we were happy they offered us a 6-month lease option. The 3-bedroom apartment is quite large with enough space for a small house-full of furniture. The location is great if you work on JBLM as the drive is quick and access to I-5 is very close. It's also close to the Lakewood International District with delicious restaurant choices and the Lakewood Town Center. The main office is gorgeous and there is a nice pool and fitness gym. The indoor basketball court looked nice, but it was always locked up. The staff are very nice. My main complaints were the Noise and lack of parking. Some tenants would get very loud late into the night and the Steilacoom Blvd traffic was also loud. Parking can be very difficult to find later in the evenings so it may be worth the extra cost to reserve a covered parking spot or even a garage if they are available. The complex allows dogs of medium to small size and many tenants have wonderful dogs. Some tenants pick up after their dogs while others don't. If you find this review helpful give me a "Like"."
