"Do yourself a favor and do not move here. I’ve lived in many apartments before and this is quite literally the worst experience ever. Sharing some tidbits for those deliberating moving here without much knowledge of the management and apartment location: - the apartment is located on 3rd and battery, which is unarguably the worst location you can land on in Seattle downtown because 3rd Ave is notorious for it’s homelessness and drug problem. I asked around a lot before moving here from another state and I wish someone would have told me this. - the monthly utility charges are the most expensive I have ever seen. I was shocked to find out that we had to pay 300+ in utilities on a monthly basis, which is ridiculous, esp because we were told it wouldn’t be more than $150 per month when we first signed the lease - we had some water flooding in the apartment from a faulty lever i the toilet that I had informed maintenance about (to which I was told there’s nothing they can do anything about by their main maintenance guy). A few months later, the toilet flooded because of the faulty level and they made us pay for the expense of replacing the flooring in the apartment. During this time, we had the most disappointment and frustrating experience dealing with the management and staff. The maintenance guy straight up lied about knowing anything about the faulty lever and Chris was also utterly unhelpful, simply because there was no paper trail of the conversation. If you do end up living here, put EVERYTHING in writing because there is no good faith or honesty with these folks. - Upon move out, we were charged for ridiculous things like repainting the apartment even though we left the place in great condition. - No one ever picks up the phone at the front desk of the office Chris and the staff are generally nice and the apartment itself is great (along with the amenities) but as far as the customer experience goes, this place left us feeling agitated and eager to move out as soon as our lease ended, and I thank God we did!"
"I lived here for 1 year and I recommend anyone who The property manager Chris is a real MVP. He treats his job more than a job, he is really thinking for the residents and the community. 1. On my move-in date, my mover had significant delay, which made us not arriving until 5:30pm (but the office closes at 6pm), Chris stayed late for us just to ensure our move-in was smooth and the loading dock was closed afterwards. (BTW, the move in and out was very convenient. The building has its own loading dock and the elevator can be reserved) 2. Sometimes the mail carrier leaves the package in the lobby but not in the package locker. Chris brings in the packages in his office to make sure no packages are stolen. 3. Chris often stays late in the office working. This list can go on and on. Another maintenance guy who always running up and down in the building is also very friendly and helpful, but I didn't capture his name during my stay. The amenities are good- a good size of gym, rooftop BBQ, coffee and lounge (very good view), and storage space. The rooftop area can be reserved but also first come first serve. I have hosted BBQ with my friends couple times, and we all had great time. The safety in this area is ok. It gets pretty bad on Bell St bus stop (1 block away). There is a pretty busy restaurant downstairs which kind of helping keeping the homeless away (And I usually go to Vine St bus stop to take bus fyi). I sometimes see homeless walking pass by but I barely see any of them stay/sleep outside of the building."
"I lived here for a year before moving out. All the workers there have been very friendly and helpful whenever I have an issue. The apartment was very affordable for the nice building and amenities included. Even after I've moved out I mistakenly had a package sent there and they are providing help in rectifying the issue. 10/10 would recommend anyone to stay here."
"My experience with this building has been absolutely fantastic. Moving from Chicago to Seattle in the middle of a pandemic isn't exactly easy, but the management was always on top of any issues or concerns I had while planning a move thousands of miles away. They definitely make the building feel like a small community. The unit was also spotless on move-in and everything has been of the highest quality. I can't recommend this building enough, it has been a great home for me in my short time here so far."
"We lived here for a year and I enjoyed it a lot. We had a tour for about 10 apartments and chose O2 at last. We feel like it's a wise decision. Location: The biggest advantage of this apartment is the location. Close to everything and you can easily walk to restaurants, shops, and even your work place if you work in SLU just like me. Unit: We got a brand new unit (yes, nobody lives in the unit before) and we pretty like it. The hardwood floor make it easy to clean, a big refrigerator, beautiful drawers with nice finishes. One thing that needs to be mentioned is they have A/C in the unit, which is rare in other apartments. Price: Considering the location and it's a new apartment and , the price is good. Although I wish to have a bigger parking spot, I know parking here in the town is expensive. Management: The best thing that we like here is the management stuffs, both Chris, Rebecca, Jason, they are very friendly and help us in a timely manner. It's always a nice experience to see them and greet each other when you go to work in the morning. With them, the apartment is clean and things are organized. They also held some interesting events before COVID19. In summary, I'd definitely recommend people go by and take a tour of this apartment. Jay & Nichole."
