"I have been at Hillcrest for a about 2.5 years. Jessica was the 4th manager of this building and by far the very best! She and the maintenance manager Braydon have made many positive changes and the building seems so much cleaner and better. I have gone to her with a few issues in my apartment and Braydon takes care of them the same day. She cares about the residents. She greets them by name when she sees them and many including me stop in her office just to say hi. I have had many interactions with her and all have been positive. You take an issue to her and she listens and lets you know she hears you and then she begins the process to resolve the problem. I was thinking of leaving when she arrived. With all the positive things she has done, the things that she still wants to accomplish are great. I will stay because of her and Braydon. The tenants here are lucky to have her as the manager."

"So far my experience has been pretty good. The manager is on top of things to answer questions and just about anything you need. I like the layout of the apartments and the amount of space it has. It’s located in a really nice area. Having stores only about 10 minutes away by drive. And I like that it offers a code to use the front door."

"I moved back to Hillcrest with my husband and our cat just over two years ago. I lived here for about a year in 2008 so when the management (or lack of management) at our previous apartment diminished our quality of life to the point where I wanted to pack up my entire life and haul it across town, this was the first place we looked. The community has gone downhill a bit since I was last here and we were seriously discussing another move in October, but in just a couple months the new manager, Jessica, has really turned things around and we’re no longer looking into moving. I can tell she really cares about the residents and works hard to make sure everyone can feel safe and comfortable in their home. The new maintenance team is great, too. They’ve responded quickly and fixed the few issues we’ve had. The building isn’t brand new and things wear out over time so it happens but we haven’t had to wait long at all for the couple issues we have had to be resolved. The location is great…there is a bus line that goes into downtown to the north or shopping to the south and the stop is maybe a 50 foot walk from the main entrance. The surrounding neighborhood is walkable and neighbors seem friendly. Lincoln park is less than 5 mins by car, as is shopping. Both are easily accessed by bus, as well. We are happy to call Hillcrest home!"
