"Loved this apartment community. Nice and quiet location. Never had any issues with crime. My apartment was cute, had a fireplace, and was spacious. Very quiet, and Steilacoom is a very cute town. Cindy was an amazing manager, and was always helpful, understanding, and fun to chat with. I couldn't have asked for a better place."
"If you have a pet just make sure to pay about $600-$900 moving out regardless if there is no damage to carpet. I was told it’s a standard charge to replace the carpet whether they found damage or not. They took forever to fix the issues I put in work orders but when I moved out they were quick to send my account to collections. They won’t give you courtesy calls or let you know they plan to send you to collections after you move out. I wasn’t even more than a week and a half past the due date the amount was owed and they just sent my account to collections. I called them and explained my situation and asked if it was alright I was late and they told me yes next thing you know I got hit with a collections notice. Just make sure you pay them right away they have no mercy."
"My husband and I applied at Windemere in February as we were relocating from California. When I met with the manager I advised her that I had a job offer from a new company in Washington. We put in our application and paid the application and holding fees because I figured we would have no problem getting approved as we have excellent credit, money in the bank and a great rental history. It took a week to find out that we were not approved, after I was very clear that my husband and I were moving from California and getting new jobs. Since the manager was aware of this from the very beginning I feel that I was misled by her that we would be considered for the apartment. We would not have even applied if the manager had advised me that the employment history was going to be a factor. The application fee was clearly a waste of money and in my opinion, the manager could have advised me that the employment history was going to be an issue at the time of our meeting. As of today 3/24/17 I still have not received a refund of the holding fee for the apartment. My husband and I ended up getting approved for a better apartment that is NOT owned/managed by Dobler Management."
"Loved living here. its a small community, quiet - except the landscapers, but otherwise okay. I lived in a 2 bedroom on the ground floor - yes, I could hear the people above me walking around, but it wasn't that bad. The bedrooms are good size, but the kitchen is the best! lots of counter space and a ton of cabinets - there is a garden window for my plants. The manager was nice, and grounds and maintenance were too. The only real complaint, if you want to call it one, is the time it took to get to the freeway, about 12 min during commute times."
