"Aemery55 you shouldn’t be posting under Dr Wu’s reviews giving him a 1star because of your experience with Dr Sprake. That just muddies Dr Wu’s star rating and although he is retired he was a great doctor. Put your review and rating under Dr Sprake where it belongs."

"Unfortunately, Dr. Wu has retired. Dr. Wu was fantastic! All that has changed. If you go to Capital Women's Health expecting the same kind of treatment you received from Dr. Wu, you are bound to be sadly disappointed. I ended up seeing Dr. Sprake, Dr. Wu's former partner. Dr. Sprake is terrible. He basically blackmailed me into having a pelvic exam, even though it wasn't needed yet, because I hadn't seen him before - just Wu - and he "didn't feel comfortable renewing my birth control prescription without doing a pelvic". I'm 43 and have taken birth control for years. If I was 14 and wanted birth control I could walk into any Planned Parenthood and get it with NO exam. But apparently, not at Dr. Sprake's. Also, I told the receptionist when I made the appointment that I didn't want a Pap smear (hadn't even been 3 years and the standard for my age and history is 5 years), I told the nurse when she checked my history, AND I told Sprake when he came in. What does he do first thing when I lay back for the pelvic he blackmailed me into? A pap. And when I called him on it, his response: "Well, I can throw it away if you want." I have NEVER had such an unprofessional doctor IN MY LIFE. I will never be back to Sprake and he ought to be thankful that I am not the kind of person who sues for malpractice. Because that is exactly what happened to me. I never left a doctor's office feeling violated before. Thanks William Sprake. Thanks a lot."
