"I got the chance to tour this property and a few units and thank goodness i caught the best price i've found around the area! For having a beautiful wood burning fireplace, ample living room and storage closet space, washer and dryer in unit, along with a walk in shower and full bath, this property is amazing for its price! I am so excited to move in - i applied today and am hoping the application and move in process goes smoothly!! :) As a leasing professional for another company, i was nervous to try out a new community. However, Tracy in the office was kind, answered all of my questions the best she could and personalized the experience! She even multi-tasked and helped a few existing residents promptly as we were back and forth touring. Was willing to work with me on finding a unit that works with my timeframe and price range. Thanks Wildflower team(:"
"Currently living here for almost 3 years. The rent is affordable and the apartments location is convenient. I've had a horrible experience with maintenance, shortly after I moved in the dishwasher leaked all over the floor during cycle. I reported this to the manager at that time. He said he would have his maintenance crew right on it. 6 months later I finally had maintenance come to my apartment and replace the dishwasher. As of recently about the beginning of October my dryer stopped working. I reported to the manager and she said about 20 days before the repair. I thought this was a little long and ridiculous but I politely said ok and hang dried all my clothes until then. Maintenance came out roughly 3 weeks later and repaired the dryer. 2 days later I did a cycle of clothes in the dryer and the dryer sparked. I could smell a electric burning smell. I quickly turned off the dryer and unplugged it. I immediately called the emergency maintenance number and only received a voicemail which I left a message. Just to make sure I called the office knowing they were closed and left a message as well. The next morning I received a phone call from the manager about the issue. We met at the office in person to discuss the issue. I was told maintenance was slow that week and they would be out to take care of the issue. It has now been a week and maintenance has yet to show up. It's upsetting to think that this is not a priority since my family and I have been without a dryer for over a month and not to mention a fire hazard. I hope the owners see this because Im a tenant who has paid my rent on time since initial move in and have caused no problems. It's difficult to do laundry for a family of 4 with no dryer and no to mention the potential fire hazard. I would love to move but unfortunately not in a position to do so. Another that is bothersome is the parking spaces here are very small and not labeled so visitors are constantly parked in our assigned spaces. I guess the only positive side of living in Wildflower apartments is the affordable rent prices and the swimming pool. Maybe things will get better but as of now living here has been stressful and worrisome."
"Been there for 5 years plus change. Quiet, nice surrounding community, lower price. What people have mentioned about the staff are true - it is an autocratic (dictatorship) apartment manager. He does not offer communication with the apartment owners, nor accept any feedback or grievance. It's a catch 22 if they say you owe anything - you just have to pay whatever they say or they'll send you to collections. It's privately owned so they have no accountability. I just moved out and they wanted to charge me and extra move out fee for something that was clearly documented the damage was before we moved in. Yet, they said "it doesn't really matter" and will send me to collections if I don't pay. No receipts, no proof, and a loose move out contract. Yikes. So there's the downside - most of the time no problems, no real crime, really old appliances."
"I lived in Wildflower from 2009 until recently, in late 2016. I truly loved my apartment and enjoyed living there. The rent was what I could afford at the time. Until I became disabled, and my finances became tight. But I will have to say throughout the years of living there I never had many problems and when I wrote out a slip they came and repaired whatever was wrong. I am pretty careful with everything and treat things good because I like things to last. Management never gave me a hard time. And the deposit was awesome when I moved in and actually I received mine back, I left the place pretty much exactly as I moved in. I used to clean apartments for years so I pretty much understand what it takes to make it look amazing. Over-all , I really enjoyed living there and I totally liked the area , I will miss being there very much. Thanks to Management for making my stay awesome."
"There is a very friendly squirrel who lives under the N building and he sleeps in my apartment. His name is Chestnut and he has only bitten me once. I have gotten all of my rabies shots. Don't worry. He has only hospitalized two children so he is pretty safe. The neighbors let me borrow their bong once and that was nice of them. There is only one gang in here. So far only one shooting. So, yes it is interesting. It makes it more fun I guess. It's like a game of hide-and-seek, but just with strangers. I do see people having nice family dinners. The food I find in the dumpster is the best food I think I've ever had and that's pretty cool. Also, another enjoyable thing about this apartment complex is dumpster diving. One time when I was dumpster diving, I found my favorite green shirt, which I happen to be wearing right now. So if there was a rating that said, " Heavenly" I would put that. Thank You."
