"The entire place is covered in dog feces. I’ve been stuck cleaning it off my dogs feet, shoes, look forward to ending my lease and finding a cleaner place to live. Tried expressing the issue to management. They put one sign by the mail boxes but never cleaned up the campus or made any other attempts to stop the issue. They charge pet rent and additional fees, but offer nothing but thin bags to use. They have a dog park but it’s not being cleaned/maintained along with the rest of the campus. Instead dealing with the on going issue, they made a new parking policy that won’t allow us to back into spaces or be parked more than 3 days at a time. Parking is a bigger priority than having a clean sanitary place for us to enjoy and use."
"I spent a few years in a decent apartment complex, then Thrive took over. First of all, Thrive? Are you an MLM? I don't trust even the name. But they changed staff so often, it was suspicious. They had cameras but when something was stolen they didn't seem to know how to use them..they made lots of promises are improvements, instead they just raised rents and make you keep your bicycles in the apartment! They were so unorganized. There were people who moved out and it would sit empty, months later that empty apartment would get an eviction notice!! They forgot about us even living there. They took SIX MONTHS to give me my deposit back . And I had talked to them in between that time. I should have sued for double then, but just found out that I still can since I have. So perhaps I'll see them again soon!"
"I've lived in this complex for almost 6 years now and it has just continued to decline since a new management company stepped in about a year and a half ago now. Rent was raised astronomically without proper notice - and when we discussed this issue with a lawyer we were told that there's no real way to prove we didn't receive notice so it was not a smart financial decision to battle the company. If we HAD been properly notified we would have left the complex for a cheaper location. Furthermore, I have to go through all of the fees in our payment portal every month to make sure they are accurate because there have regularly been issues with what we are being charged for (renters fees being added when I already have renters insurance, car port parking being removed or added, etc.). This company has been an absolute nightmare and does not seem to understand that real human beings live here- this is not just a business. Bikes aren't allowed unless they're INSIDE your home. It's a dog friendly space and there's no consequences for leaving dog poop everywhere making the complex stinky in the summers when poop is baking in the sun. The office hours are constantly changing. Staff don't seem to properly document information in tenant files. It's really just a mess. Looking forward to ending our lease this year and will never rent under Thrive again."
"Maintenance is always prompt and kind especially Finch. I appreciate your work and the card left explaining is always such a nice touch letting me know!"
