Sawyer Pointe Apartments 52588 Northeast Sawyer Street, Scappoose, OR 97056

"The actual apartment is ok. We had a sugar ant problem as soon as we moved in but that’s a fairly easy fix. (I’ve seen some other people say sugar ants too.) BUT, Management isn’t very helpful and doesn’t answer phone calls promptly. My laundry was stolen out of the community laundry room. There was a laundry key left in the door so I gave it to the office in hopes maybe that connected whoever stole my stuff. Checked up every week and they never got around to it. Well eventually I saw someone wearing my stolen clothes. Got the police involved but they needed more information on the guy to really help - police called front office and was told to call back later because they were on lunch… Nothing ever came of that. This same person who stole my clothes would take a knife and hammer it into the laundry room door because he didn’t have a key…(this was after I gave the abandoned key to the office) Don’t forget my upstairs neighbor who had the door pretty much busted in one morning and was arrested for meth. We moved in 2021 because we didn’t feel safe there. I’ve just had a few people I know looking there recently and thought I’d share my thoughts. I think it’s still the same management and manager."

"The 2 apartments are way too small! Especially for 1750 a month I can rent a house for this much!! and there is no washer dryer hookup none of the laundry rooms are in working order!! everything is way old and outdated windows are from the 1950s we had ants like crazy our first day in here! Before we even had any food in the place AT ALL!! I will definitely be breaking this lease in about 3, 4 months when i save up enough to do so!! Hidden oaks is st Helen's is 1100 a month with washer dryer hook ups. And they are 1100 SF so 400 more sf it's just outrageous!!not happy at all.."

"Nice apts inside and out.i droppred a friend off and met a real nice lady there..so i know whom.ever the management is picks good people to rent to.."

"I moved here in the beginning of this summer 2019. Put my application for a 2 bedroom. Got in to a 1 bedroom was told my 2 bedroom would be done within 2 weeks of having to be in the 1 bedroom. Well it wasnt. Now 5 months later still in the 1 bedroom cause when it was time for me to get into the 2 bedroom they wanted me to repay the security deposit which wasnt happening. I already paid it for a place that I havent even got into yet. As well as am paying rent for a 2 bedroom when I'm not even in it. Super annoying! My application was for a 2 bedroom that's where I should be in as well as I shouldnt have to repay a deposit for something I already paid that I haven't even seen."
