"I reached out via their online form for a project. I never heard back. I then called and had the displeasure of speaking with their disinterested, too busy to be pleasant, desk jockey who said he’d have someone get back to me. I said no thanks. Customer service is dead these days. Too bad. Response to Business Owner: It’s funny the business owner says that after speaking with the desk jockey they, “now know how the call went”. Except what they describe is exactly what I’ve already said. Maybe instead of finding reasons why the people who want to give you their hard earned dollars are wrong, you should use the feedback to tighten up your own ship. In the time since you’ve replied to my review I’ve spoken with three other local contractors who all managed to neither sound disinterested, distracted, or too busy for a call. Perhaps training your people to communicate instead of sounding frustrated they have to deal with a customer is time well spent? Something as simple as, “hey I’ve placed another call on hold, can I take your name and number and get right back to you?” This kind of communication saves everyone time and makes businesses money. Especially someone one that “prides themselves on customer service and follow through”. It’s not rocket surgery after all. FYI still no follow up on my online form submission I’m sure you could figure out which one it is since I requested the same project from your desk jockey."
