"Picturesque area of the CWRU campus, the section that historically was the campus of the Mather College for Women. Mostly late 19th and early 20th century buildings in the college gothic style by several notable architects. Feels exceptionally collegiate - chapel, fountain, sundial, stone entrance gate, big porch with rocking chairs, turrets and stained glass, huge old trees. Good interior and exterior spaces for a college student to read, study, have an intellectual conversation, rehearse, or just reflect. Best times to see it are autumn at leaf color peak and spring bloom time, but winter and summer are beautiful too. Short walk to multiple museums and cafes. Both metered street parking and parking garages nearby."
