"I can’t say enough good things about Bright Star. My daughter was there for the last year and would be there for years if we didn’t move out of state. She was in waddlers and then a toddler class. Both groups of teachers were amazing with her. Their days are very well planned out and the teachers keep parents informed of the weekly lesson plans. I loved the daily reports with personalized notes about my daughters day. The center is very clean and secure. I also LOVED being able to watch her online during the day. In the year that we were there they did change directors three times. I didn’t mind the first time, but I was a little uneasy about the next time a change was made. However, once I met the new director I completely felt at ease. I was happy with Bright Star before she was there, but she made us even happier. She was a great addition to an already great team. We did have one slight increase in tuition but at the same time the carpet was replaced with wood floors. It was nice to see where the increase was being spent. The owner is in the center almost daily and super friendly. The saddest part of our move was leaving Bright Star."

"So we left our last childcare because I witnessed an incident (another child) but leaving was coming because our son was crying at drop off in the old place and we could not figure out why...but he LOVES this place, after our tour he could not stop talking about it, I was happy after our trial day and on his start day he reassured me in the car, “mom, there is a school bus and a firetruck and a train, so many things mom, it’s going to be fine!” He is 2.5yrs and reassuring mom. He went from bawling his eyes out at drop off at old childcare to going happily to gramma’s house (which was a vacation of love and being spoiled) to this and from what I have witnessed with my own eyes he is well cared for and so are the rest of the students, teachers here do their best, and management is responsive to feedback and attentive to individualizing care as much as possible! And cameras!!!! Watching him nap or play or interact is wonderful, communication with caregivers has been awesome so far, only 3 wks in but still...I feel very comfortable here and our son says bye without issue after months of tantrums elsewhere (no tantrums saying goodbye at gramma’s either, all about comfort!)"

"For a good portion of our child's tenure here we had an overall good impression of the place. Until that is our 5 year old(who just turned 5 two weeks ago) was suspended with no warning and absolutely no attempt from the staff to address the issues with us. When we signed him up with this place we talked to them about the fact that our child isn't always perfectly behaved(he was 4 when we signed him up). He's certainly stubborn and selfish on occasions and the issue that apparently set them over the top was his refusal to come in from recess and also he and several other boys were pretending and playing with their fingers as guns. As much as we try to communicate with him about how inappropriate playing pretend guns is he's a five year old who cant possibly understand or relate to the political and social aspects of this idea, so getting him to take them seriously is harder than say explaining to him why he can't play in the road or use bad language. We have addressed with him as a general principle given today's zero tolerance mentality, but when all the kids are playing it; to expect him not to join in is absurd. We have now found out that he's been on certain restrictions in class for the last two weeks with absolutely nobody on staff telling us this until a few days prior to suspending him when they started sending him home as soon as he wasn't perfectly cooperative with his teachers. Absolutely pathetic treatment of us and him by the new facilities director, especially seeing as how in the entire time he's been in this place the only issues we have had regarding his behavior has been following directions(he was 4 just turned 5), taking naps, and now most recently apparently playing pretend guns. We were blind sided by this treatment and the failure of the staff to handle it aside from just calling us to come get him several times over the last week. We work and leaving work over this kind of thing is ridiculous. So if you're thinking of signing your child up with this place I would advise you against it and that the new director(like a principal) isn't willing to deal with any kid who isn't perfectly well behaved."

"This is by far the best Child Care facility I have seen. My daughter has been to quite a few over the years due to us moving around and trying to get settled. There are things we all have on our check list when we put our child in the hands of others. For me, this has everything. It's well organized, clean, you can see how much effort and attention go into all the creative decorations all over the halls and the class rooms. The staff are all wonderful and polite, my daughters teachers are not only good to her but engage with me as well when I come to drop her off and pick her up. The extras are great, looking forward to seeing my daughter everyday in photos on FB, the live cam service, the meals, the activities, my daughter behaves much better now and communicates much better than she did. Apart from that, they've been very kind to me in there assistance with my pay schedule and always having to make arrangements, Quinn( I'm sorry if I misspelled) has been very very patient with me haha and I appreciate it so much. Overall, we want to feel like our children are safe, I can honestly say that I feel comfortable with my daughter in their hands be there any emergency situation, which is a lot for me and I'm sure for any parent who is protective. The level of competence I observe from the staff make me feel like she is in very capable hands."

"Bright Star has been great to my kids! They treat us like family. Every staff member knows my children's name. They are kind and genuine and provide lots of outside play and a lot of learning based play. They have fun themed days (Pajama Friday, Seahawks Friday, Dr Seuss' birthday, bouncy house day). The lead teachers have all been there well over a year. They take great pictures of the kids and post to Facebook every day. We really enjoyed our time with them (1.5 yrs) and are sad to leave. I would recommend them to anyone looking for quality daycare."
