"We decided to upgrade our 100yo storm windows which were not very efficient, and most windows could not be opened due to a lack of screens. We went with Heritage Window Solutions because they seemed to have a specialized expertise with working on older homes. During the initial site visit with Justin, he provided lots of helpful options for our new storms. Ultimately, we decided to replace 19 of our windows with preservation grade storms (some with high quality screens). A surveyor then came out to measure the uniquely shaped windows and check for any areas that needed help. The crew that came out to install the new storms were great and did an excellent job making the new storms fit and blend well into the old frames. Overall, Justin and the rest of his team were great to work with. Our only gripe was a longer than expected wait on the window installation (due to manufacturer delays) and a lack of communication during this time. For this reason, I would normally knock Heritage Windows down one star, but they acknowledged the PM communication issues and are actively working on improving their system. Therefore, I recommend Heritage Window Solutions for anyone with an older home who is looking to either preserve their existing windows, or to work with a company who knows how to properly install new storms in an old home."
