Reviews
"Very nice and caring"
"Had an interview with Two Fine ladies and it was pretty interesting to sit & learn more about CASA. we discussed pros & cons of many areas that entail the lives of children, foster care, CPS, needs & experiences in what they specialize in. Training for 32 hours seems amazing, a blessing, rewarding& enlightening in my opinion. Thank you Angie &Vearl 4 taking the time to meet w/ me."
"This place is great"
"This is a non-profit organization run by a small staff of three full-time employees and three part-time employees. The mission if the organization is to provide a voice for children in the dependency court system. This is done through recruiting, training, and retaining volunteers who want to speak for children who are unable to speak for themselves. Volunteers carry one or two cases. Because they have the time to focus on these cases they often become the expert on the needs of the children as well as the family. The volunteer gathers information from all sources... parents, placements, teachers, day care, doctors, therapists, etc. to make the best possible recommendation to the court regarding permanency, services the child needs, how often the child should visit with their family and what that should look like, as well as where they should live. I was on staff for several years and an now continuing to volunteer in whatever capacity I can to help kids who can't help themselves and are usually going through the worst time of their lives."
