"Basically the same as everyone. Once closed they really did not want to help us. We were told to expect a one year walk through. Even when we had problems with the house (roof leaks, doors stick, etc.) we were told, it will all be taken care of at the one year mark. One year came and went and no one responded or reached out. Now as we’re are working with our realtor trying to get SOMETHING done. Oh well your warranty is over. Pleas explain to me how a 10 year warranty on a roof is out or the face that in that first year, none of the issues were addressed. Buyer beware!"
"I would absolutely avoid Cimarron. If, on the off chance your new home has no warranty or repair issues, you might be okay, but the customer service is abysmal. The company does not reply to emails, and you can’t get through by phone. Cimarron does not stand by its work: a window in our new house was cracked at the base, and Cimarron claimed it wasn’t warrantable. The front door of the house was installed incorrectly, but the company claims it can’t be fixed; the company also told us they would replace defective fixtures but then failed to do so. The “landscaping” of our yard included a backyard full of rocks and stones, and it took seven months for us to get window screens for our house. The company likes to blame others for their mistakes. (For instance, Cimarron installed mailboxes on the wrong side of the road and tried to blame the postal service for not delivering mail.) Check other online reviews and BUYER BEWARE! AVOID!!!"
"My husband and I went under contract on a Cimarron home when it was just a foundation in June 2020 and the home was completed and we moved in November 2020. We worked with Nicole and we have even kept in touch a bit. She is extremely responsive and knowledgeable. The build was pretty smooth and the home came together nicely. It is a green certified home and our energy bills are lower than we have had for smaller homes in the past. I loved working with Cimarron because they are a smaller, local builder. Highly recommend, we would 100% use them again!"
