"Community of families. Lots of children, young to highschool. Some young adults. Lots of green space. Pre-school on property, not specifically affiliated. Central mail boxes, laundry area, but also town houses have specific space for own washer/dryer. Playground. No dishwasher, or allowed portable (to buy your own). Maintenance for homes, and yard. No mowing necessary, but lawn clippings not bagged (can mow your own lawn). Property owned and managed by Bellingham Whatcom County Housing Authority, a HUD (Government) subsidized project. To apply must go to their York Street office. These homes range from 2 bedrooms, to 3, with two 4 bedroom ramblers (which may never be available), also on property. Neighborhood is not an expensive one but very nice beautiful homes, to ones which need improvement."

"Great apartment community. I have a friend who has lived there for years. All the residents are very nice, they all seem to keep to themselves pretty much and they all appear friendly. Has a nice laundry room onsite and a big play area for the children. These apartments are owned by the Housing Authority and they are well kept. Housing employees do periodic inspections of the insides and outside. nice complex compared to a bunch of others in Bellingham."
