Within three days of submitting a claim for the vet services, Healthy Paws had approved the claim and sent the direct deposit to my bank account (that I had previously set up in their portal). "Healthy Paws is a fair and honest company. My husband and I have used Healthy Paws since 2016. My husband did a lot of research when we needed a policy for our 3 kittens. We had another policy for our dog that had an annual cap and a deductible for each occurrence on her policy with another company. Healthy Paws has no annual cap and one annual deductible. Our dog had a preexisting condition so we could not switch her policy. We received a multiple pet discount for our 3 cats with Healthy Paws. Anytime we filed a claim we received reimbursement. Over time we adopted another cat. And adopted another dog when our other dog passed away. We added both pets to our Healthy Paws Policy. For the most part our pets have been very healthy. But the newest cat we adopted had some health occurrences. The latest one that started in Jan. of 2024 ended up being a lot of money. Our cat was hospitalized for 2 weeks. If it was not for Healthy Paws, we would have had to put him to sleep. I am happy to say that he recovered and is doing great! The bills were higher than any other veterinary costs we have ever had with any pet. Healthy Paws covered 80% of our bills. Which was the percentage we chose when adding this cat to the policy. I highly recommend Healthy Paws to anyone looking for Pet Insurance."
