Hotel Sorrento 900 Madison Street, Seattle, WA 98104

"I stayed here for one night with my husband while we attended an event nearby. Hotel was beautiful, the fireside bar was cozy and amazing. Very cool historic building. The room was nice and clean. The staff were so incredibly friendly, they were more than happy to hold our luggage when we showed up a little early and wanted to walk around Seattle without bags. The location is also great, close to downtown and cap hill, lots of fun things to do within walking distance. There were quite a few ambulances and sirens at night, which is to be expected with the hotel's proximity to hospitals, but it wasn't enough to bother us or keep us from sleeping. We have similar background noise at home so we are used to it but this may be something bothersome if you're used to sleeping somewhere very quiet."

"I just love this Hotel. It’s got a wonderful history, is so beautiful and charming but best of all is the staff. They are always so helpful and friendly. I recently stayed there and was delighted to dine in the fireside room. The food is wonderful and you can’t beat the ambience!"

"Very comfortable, updated room with plenty of space at a very affordable rate. The Sorrento has a wonderful, boutique, vintage feel and the staff are very helpful, friendly, & professional. The location worked beautifully for me — walking distance to so many cafe’s and friends’ places. I look forward to future stays. Compliments!"

"Excellent location and such a beautiful building. Historic buildings such as these deserve to be lauded. The fireplace bar and Stella restaurant are wonderful. The bar is dark and cozy and features a live jazz pianist. You feel like you’ve transcended time back to when people spent hours conversing about life and books. Beds were comfortable and we had a coffeemaker, phone, and hair dryer in the room. There is a large fitness center and a desktop computer in the lower lobby. The only reason for the 4 stars is the surprise $25 facility fee upon checkout. It was explained that this is for the fitness center, the coffeemaker etc. Regardless of whether or not you’ve used these services. Better to include that in the cost so when we book online it’s more transparent. This felt a little sneaky."

"The front desk staff were so nice and accommodating. Excellent service from the valets. The restaurant was quaint and drinks were great. The location was so convenient for visiting my husband at the hospital. Just a half block away. We also enjoyed burgers from 206 Burger. Delicious!! Our room was just fine and bed and bedding very comfortable. I will definitely stay again. I really appreciated the 24-hour valet service."
