DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Seattle Airport

"Very good location close to the airport. Rooms were clean and service was friendly. Just a couple of concerns like the heater in the room had a moderately loud humming to it so we had to turn it off in order to sleep. The pillows and bed were not comfortable the bed was rather firm as well as the pillows. There was also a big light shinning into our room from the outside. I think the light was designed to showcase the building after dark. Good thing for the blackout curtains. They have an option to park your car as you travel. We did this so hopefully our car is fine when we return. The parking lot looks safe and gated. There a security guard and robot (yes a robot) wondering around the parking lots so that makes us feel safer."

"Excellent location if you've had a long journey but 1 night would probably be enough. Staff were great and we used the restaurant which was also good food at reasonable prices. The room was dingy colours but clean and unfortunately the showers were just a tepid dribble. There wasn't a safe in the room or at reception. We always use one while on holiday. On the plus side if you prefer to be away from downtown seattle you can use the free shuttle bus to the airport and get a train into downtown for about $3. This takes about 30 minutes."

"Great hotel, rooms were comfortable and nice. Had a balcony with a nice view. Stayed here so I could get a quick ride to the rental car place at the airport. Would stay here again."

"As most of the other reviews mention, the hotel is very outdated. I could live with that, however the comforters and pillows smelled bad, not clean almost like sweat. They felt rough and almost over starched. No microwaves in rooms or floors, ice machine didn’t work. No water fill stations around either. Parking situation is terrible. Lots of walking if you can’t park near main entrances. Pretty disappointing place for a Double Tree."

"Although the hotel had a bit of an dated vibe, the friendly staff, prime location, and quiet atmosphere made up for this. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and enjoyed my time at the hotel. I noticed that the room decor was a little dated as other reviewers said. This didn't overshadow the great service and location. Check-in and check-out were both handled by friendly and efficient staff. One of its best features was its prime location, and the shuttle service was prompt and reliable. The hotel's ambience was lovely. My room was also very quiet, so I was able to sleep well and recharge after a long flight. I used Hawaiian Airlines' discount deal; it was reasonable."
