"Pulled into a very narrow entrance way where a few cars were parked and my car was damaged due to a jagged rock wall just inside the driveway. Im sure they think its decorative. Would they put knives out there or shards of glass because they thought they were decorative? Not a safe place for a jagged rock wall. No door to the shower making it very drafty. View into the office next door on the top floor. No device remote in the room. Phone didnt work, had to report that with my cell to call the hotel. Ice 13 floors away near a back stairwell. Snarky staff."
"This location stands out as a good option for those on business travel. The front desk staff exudes warmth and efficiency, making every interaction pleasant. The room catered seamlessly to my needs throughout an extended stay. The location affords swift access to the local area’s offerings. Among the numerous Marriott hotels I’ve experienced in Seattle, this hotel has quickly become a favorite. I am hoping to return for future visits to Seattle. However, while the breakfast offered convenience, its lack of variety became noticeable over time. Also, the air conditioning in the room contributed to a noticeably dry air."
"Perfect location to walk to all the major sights! The room was very nice and spacious. You have a ton of late night spots open close by as well. I would definitely stay there again! There was only one con. I was told housekeeping would come every other day which was totally fine; however, my second day (when housekeeping wasn’t going to be there), my AC was moved back up to the original room temp and nothing else was done to the room. But on the next day, housekeeping did come and did a great job, but the AC was what I set it too. It makes me believe that they came in on the first day to bump the temperature up, but I am hoping it could be on a timer. I just thought it was strange it changed one day but not the next."
"This is my 3rd time staying here in 3 months. This stay is for 40 days. The rooms are very nice and clean. Very comfortable bed. It is newly renovated and beautiful. The staff is so friendly, helpful, courteous, and extremely professional. Talk about good customer service. They greet you by name. The kitchen staff are very nice. Full complimentary breakfast. House keepers are so nice and accommodating, I can't help but tip them because they are so accommodating. The service all around great. The hotel location is center to the major attractions, literally walking distance. Laundry is really nice with 14 machines and the gym is also very nice. Laundry and gym are located on the second floor along with a nice huge comfortable private sitting area. I like the laundry and gym being on the second floor so you can have access to it 24/7 without disturbing anyone. The walls are soundproof. Overall I give my entire experience for the last 2 months a 5+. Plenty of restaurants nearby and a restaurant/ bar and store is on the first floor. It is my home away from home. I am from the South and I am all about good old fashion hospitality and if you stay here you will experience this as well."
"If you hold status with Marriott, I would politely avoid this location. All of the employees seem stressed and frustrated. Receptionist was quite flirtatious with some members. The laundry machines are all broken and you have to wait for the maintenance man to come fix it. I came during a business stay and other colleagues in my group received Titanium Status during their stay. When I inquired about receiving status I received a beat around the bush from not just the location but also Marriott International HQ, some sympathizers but overall no one who could rectify the situation. It was impossible to get in touch with the general manager of the location. Marriott blames this situation on a system error. Despite this being a corporate stay paid for, which is outlined in their policy for not receiving status - yet others received the status. There seems to be an underlying issue here, but to receive Titanium status is a huge deal with a lot of benefits such as Silver status with United, 25% Elite Bonus Points: Members with Titanium Elite status earn a 25% bonus on the base points they earn for stays, Enhanced Room Upgrade: Complimentary room upgrades may be available, including suites, subject to availability at check-in, Welcome Gift: Titanium Elite members receive a welcome gift of points upon check-in, Guaranteed Late Checkout: Members are entitled to request a late checkout, subject to availability, Priority Late Checkout: Titanium Elite members receive a priority for late checkout requests, Exclusive Member Rates: Access to exclusive rates and promotions available only to Marriott Bonvoy members, Lounge Access: Access to the Executive Lounge at hotels that have one, where available, 48-Hour Guarantee: Reservation guarantee, ensuring a room is available if you book at least 48 hours in advance. Marriott seems adamant about not making the moment right for their guests, let alone their status members. Personally, it felt as if this could be due to my race unfortunately. Marriott's competitors do a better job at hospitality. Try another hotel!"
