"First, be aware, you are not really dealing with LEICHT directly here, you are dealing with YS Built. We are remodeling our house, and considering LEICHT's reputation and quality, we paid the deposit(without signing any deposit agreement. As a matter of fact, all we've got is a link to pay. I know that's stupid, this is the first mistake we made, we trusted LEICHT too much) and started the design with LEICHT Seattle, which is the beginning of the nightmare. After some revisions, we started to feel Yuval, whom we were working throughout the whole process, the owner of YS built, was trying to rush us towards signing the agreement and making the purchase instead of ensuring we have the design we want to invest on or that we're satisfied with the results. And the supposedly "finalized" design, in our opinion, completely lacks considerations. He designed our hood to be less than 1.6m from the ground, in order to make some deep floating cabinet with an oddly-looking mold surrounding a 10" duct on top of it... It is unfortunately because of the dissatisfaction of the supposedly finalized design, and obviously we don't want that spend a ton of money to make something we know we will for sure regret in the future, that we decided to postpone our kitchen remodeling to minimize the remodeling impact to our own life. When we updated them with the decision and asking what's the portion of deposit that's refundable, since we've never seen or signed anything about this before, the designer Meddie started to show up and said she can help us with the design. It is at this point that I started to wonder, have we not been working with a designer for the past few months, which might have made things easier? Also, all the charges are completely black box, you only get a number at the end, nothing else. And once you signed the final order contract, you can only use YS Built to install your cabinets, which will cost you a lot more than the market price, so be aware of this. We didn't make it this far, so I couldn't tell if it's worth it, but at least I can warn you of it. We knew that if we decided to move on, we'll need to have them install our kitchen cabinets, but we didn't know it's so much more expensive. This is a big lesson and mistake for us. We end up having to postpone our kitchen remodeling like I said. Posting here so people can be aware and more careful. Oh and think twice before paying any deposits."
"We bought our cabinets through Leicht Seattle and initially were going to use its owner Yuval Sofer’s team (YS Built) to install. But after learning about the complaints filed against his companies, we decided to use a different builder to install. You can find more details at the Washington State Dept of Labor & Industries website using owner name. Leicht Seattle then told us their cabinets don’t come with any installation instructions and that we have to figure everything out ourselves. When we tried to ask them questions about parts that might be missing, they wanted to charge us for explaining. We later contacted Leicht Customer Support for clarifications. The LeichtUSA president responded quickly and sent us the full instruction pdf (Kudos to the president). It turned out that there was an installation guide and Yuval’s team had been dishonest with me. When Yuval found out that I had been communicating with LeichtUSA president, he sent me an email demanding that I stop the communication and called my action inappropriate. I am confused as to why Yuval, owner of Leicht Seattle, would want me to stop contacting LeichtUSA because when I reached out to Leicht Germany Customer Support for help, it was LeichtUSA that responded. Also none of these would have happened if Leicht Seattle had simply given me the installation guide in the first place instead of trying to charge us more money for basic parts questions."
"My wife and I chose Leicht Seattle to remodel our kitchen during COVID because we wanted our home to reflect our personalities instead of the standard brown palate typical of new builds. We were unhappy with the builder-grade cabinets, counters, appliances, and backsplash in our Auburn home. We visited the Leicht Seattle showroom and fell in love with the modern design, effortless usability, and bright colors. When we decided to start on our project, Yuval worked with us to bring our hand-drawn designs to life. This included demolishing a pantry, removing a window, and relocating lighting. Yuval focused on how we use our kitchen and suggested changes to our design to best meet the needs of our lifestyle. Not only does our remodeled kitchen look stunning, but it is now a more usable space for our everyday lives thanks to Yuval’s input. We chose to use Leicht Seattle as the general contractor for this job, which was a great decision. I know this was likely the more expensive choice, but I wanted to avoid the horror stories of contracting work out to friends or lowest-bidder contractors. Anthony was our point man for everything and I cannot sing his praises enough. Anthony is capable, trustworthy, and extremely professional. He was (and still is!) available literally 24/7, at a moment’s notice. His attention to detail and insistence on the highest standards blew me away. He truly gave us the white glove treatment and accepted nothing short of perfection from Leicht’s material quality to the craftsmanship of his subcontractors. Over 10 times during the remodel I messaged Anthony late at night with petty requests like “I’ve decided to change the height of these shelves”, “ensure all cabinet doors open and close silently”, or “help me dim this underlighting.” Anthony made me feel that these requests were important and he resolved them immediately the next morning. I always felt like his top priority. However, nothing is perfect, and I want to be transparent to readers considering Leicht for their remodel. Leicht offers a premium product, with top-tier contractors, and the price tag is commensurate with this high degree of quality. If I were to do this again, I would be firmer with our budget. I recommend working with Yuval on this to make sure the sexy, cool features you want to add don’t break the bank."
"Great products, high finish and excellent customer service! We Ordered kitchen Cabinets for our split-level house. We had a lot of questions to ask as our house was built in 76’. Leitch collaborated with our contractor to fit and adjust everything towards our renovation. It turned out great! Yuval and Meddle, Thank you for helping us focus on our design and functionality needs. As an Industrial Designer I highly appreciate the fine details and engineering that Leitch applies to their products."
"Yuval is great to work with and Leicht cabinets are wonderful! We have the glass front cabinets and painted cabinetry in our mudroom and kitchen; both are extremely durable and spacious. It has been 3 years and they are in perfect condition. I would and will definitely use Leicht Seattle again."
