"Lol this place sure is something, and we weren't even there 15 minutes! As we entered the front office, no one was there, so we rang the bell for service, no big deal. Lady appears behind the counter but does not announce her presence in any way and just stands there, staring at us, waiting for us to notice her. We say we have a reservation, and she continues to stand and scowl at us, with no response. We say it was for today, and she says "not here, you don't." We are bewildered, and we explain we had made a reservation, and she says they have no vacancy and there are no check ins scheduled for the day. My partner shows her the reservation confirmation they have on their phone, and the lady insists there is no space for us and there are no check ins scheduled. Finally, the lady looks at a slip of paper on her desk and suddenly does now happen to see that we had scheduled a reservation for today! Incredible! But it doesn't matter because they are not going to give us a room, still claiming there is no vacancy. I can't speak for the quality of the rooms or anything like that, as we never got to see one, but based on the treatment we received alone, I'd say we probably dodged a bullet. Not sure why this happened, maybe there really was some sort of mix up (even so, this could have been handled better), maybe because we are a queer couple trying to stay in a small town motel, maybe they're a front for something else (the place is so sleazy with its suspiciously stained curtains and cracking structure that it is just BEGGING for you to jump to wild conclusions), who knows. The Sasquatch statue outside was pretty cool, though."
"Delivers great value for its price point, surpassing expectations. Clean, cozy accommodations for a restful stay. Conveniently located in Downtown Longview, which made it easy to explore the area. Friendly and attentive service adds to the overall positive experience."
"This place is truly exceptional, the generously sized rooms, budget-friendly rates, and accommodating staff with straightforward policies make it my preferred choice. The one-time, low pet fee, ample parking, and in-room perks like a mini-fridge, microwave, cable, WiFi, and phone are fantastic. The efficiency in handling any needs in a professional and timely manner speaks volumes about the well-run nature of this establishment. I wholeheartedly recommend it for anyone seeking for short-term and long-term residency seekers!"
"I stayed here first weekend of July last year, booked through Expedia. The experience is so jarringly horrible that it felt like a hilarious joke. To be honest, if it were cheaper or I knew what I was getting into, I wouldn't rate it one star. However: -The office smelt like cat piss -The room door had a gap big enough you could fit an envelope through, so horrible draft in the winter -For two adults for the weekend, we were provided each a bar of soap (the size of a domino) and two packets of shampoo and conditioner (the size of a ketchup packet) -The curtains and sheets were moth eaten -The pillows were about as thick as two or three stacks of cards -The lamp was wired improperly and would flicker if you touched the case -I woke up on the first night with spiders on my face I kept lahghing the whole time and you might, too."
"The owner of this motel is the most disrespectful person that I have ever dealt with. The rooms have cocroaches he thinks if you are not of the same as him you are nothing. If he thinks he us right about something he he will not listen to anything you have to say even if you are in the right. So with that being said I would not waste your money here. The rooms are dirty but when a person does not have anywhere to go and this is the only place to go you don't have a lot of say but be treated like trash. He should treat people who gave him thousands of dollars along better but he can't because he does not know any better."
