"Everything was great except for the man on duty at the desk cussed at my better half! Seems like he would know who belonged there and who did not. UPDATE- As you can see by his response, he fails to be professional, hospitable and intelligent. I won't be going back and will tell everyone I know and everyone on social media to not go there, too."
"This not a 5 star place, but I am giving 5 stars because of size of the rooms, location and the service. Great value for the $. Carpet was a little stained but you had no offensive odors. No loud street noise, no undesirables in the area."
"They only have one front desk/maintenance person who was on a hardware store trek when I arrived. The phone there did direct me to him promptly, and true to his word was less than 20 min away, so I waited. I didn't want to drive more, and there's were the most reasonable rates. I read the reviews here about the smell, so asked to check out the rooms before committing. He easily obliged. Lower room smelled like strong cleaning fluids. I can understand why some noses are turned off by this! Upper room smelled fine & we took it."
"Owner was rude and belligerent. Offered refund before we saw second room then went ballistic when we said we would drive home rather than stay after seeing it. Slammed the door and continued yelling from his office. “No refunds, thats not how this works, sue me” He kept ranting and we left. He lied to Expedia and said we damaged his property so would not refund us. We were onsite 10 min. I was in town for a funeral and was exhausted and still would not stay there. Ive stayed in lots of run down hotels in my life but this was one of the worst. Old reviews tell similar stories. I didn’t ck because I was so grateful to find a vacancy when everywhere else was sold out. This place had 4 cars in the parking lot in the middle of high season."
"Beds and pillows are very hard. Blinds let in a lot of light in the morning. There was several incidents of people doing shenanigans in the parking lot (breaking bottles, getting high, sitting suspiciously in their car for hours on end). The shower head is very low, about 5 feet from the bottom of the tub, the tub had a hard time draining, and the water pressure was near-painfully high, also one of the knobs came loose/fell off (easily fixed though). Air conditioner was extremely loud, and would start and stop randomly."
