"What a cute little place to stay for the weekend. It was a nice getaway with an easy walk to the beach. It is a walk, though. They provided everything we needed for a cozy weekend. The bed was nice, with plenty of blankets. 4 beds and a samsung TV. There is no fan in the bathroom, and the doors are barn door style, so they slide open with a bump."
"Adequate for the low-season price. The place was cute and warm. Furnishings/decor were newer but low quality. The worst aspect of this rental was the check in process. I was emailed an 8 page document with detailed instructions that indicated it was important to have them when I arrived. The instructions included a code to my unit but also a disclaimer stating I needed to call the day before I arrived in case the code changed. I forgot to do this but thankfully the code was the same as I did not have cell service on arrival. Then once I got into the unit, there is a full page form of information that I needed to review, sign off on, and then call to confirm my arrival. It felt challenging to be responsible for 10 minutes of paperwork after a long drive, especially when the questions were laid out in a way where not all the questions were applicable. Since I didnt have cell service and there was no provided landline, I thought to email them my form. Then on departure my last day, I had to repeat the process. It didn’t take a lot of extra work, but it was extra work that I have never been tasked with at any other vacation rental. It was also not “user friendly” in that I had to discern which questions didnt apply and had to figure out workarounds when the directions weren’t clear. There was a plumbing issue halfway through my stay. It had been very rainy, so I would guess the septic drain field was too saturated to accept more water. It started to bubble up into the shower, so I was conscious not to put any more water into the drains. I alerted management but did not get a response. It was great to have a kitchenette but some of the dishes were crusty so I had to wash them before using them. Convenient location for driving to Westport or Grayland, but not walkable. The walk to the ocean was indeed too soggy to cross even with ankle high rain boots, but I can’t hold that against them. As a solo budget traveler, it was adequate for the price. If I were traveling for pleasure or with friends or family, I would not choose to stay here again."
"The house keeping staff was awesome. However, the property manager was very rude and accusatory when we called for help. Accused us of breaking the oven and called about a dog complaint. My little dog was sleeping for hours. Gone down hill hard. Never again. Did I mention the toilet backing up into the shower and sinks?"
"We really wanted to love the spot due to the convenient and peaceful location, and clean and decent sized rooms. However, the plumbing stopped working halfway through our stay, and management did not resolve the issue (nor were they apologetic or accommodating). Previous guests also appear to not have done the dishes (most that we used needed to be washed before we could use them)."
"Close to the beach with a trail for beach access, we could hear the waves from our room. Great for a dog, they even left us a blanket in the room for our pup to use. All of the amenities were amazing. The only reason for 4 stars is that the bathroom was very very small and the door was a barn style door with no latch which did not provide privacy between the bathroom and the rest of the room. That being said, we will CERTAINLY be back to stay at this peaceful little inn!"
