Red Lion Inn & Suites Sequim

"A diamond in the rough. Quick access to and from the highway. Shopping, restaurants, and anything else you need all within a mile but still quiet.The rooms were nice. The prices were reasonable. We had a hot tub room that was actually a nice hot tub and not some cringy 1970s throwback. The rooms all had clean fridges, microwaves, and a nice tv. There is even chilled water available. I also want to give a shout out to the front desk people. I have never felt more welcome. My wife had mentioned we were traveling through that area on the way to my wife's Mother's funeral services. At checkout Carissa made a handmade, hand printed card, with a beautiful original poem inside that really made my wife feel at ease. I have traveled for decades and stayed at many 5 star hotels but never had this kind of sincere treatment from hotel staff. It was very much appreciated. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in this area"

"Overall a good experience. First room we were given though was not as clean as I would’ve expected. Sheets had many strands of hair as did the pillows. An earplug was found behind the nightstand too. Not the best housekeeping. We brought this to the attention of the front desk and they were very quick to resolve the issue by offering a new room. The second room was much cleaner. Great service. From there it was smooth sailing thanks to all the amenities offered. Tons of complimentary snacks and a very solid breakfast of both hot and cold items. Pool was great too. We didn’t use them, but the hotel offered free bike rentals as well. This hotel packs a lot of value for the price."

"Had an absolutely lovely time at this hotel! It was in a great location only 40 minutes from Port Townsend (and a gorgeous drive it was). The rooms were clean, the pool and hot tub were open until midnight which was awesome, they had a gym, hot breakfast, and the grounds were beautiful with a big open field for our dog to play in. They even had bike rentals for free and board games to play! The staff were also extremely friendly. I highly recommend this hotel!"

"We enjoyed our stay here with our 2 small dogs. Its an older hotel but updates are mostly good. Only complaint would be the mattress as it wasnt comfortable at all and sounded like the springs were going to shoot out of the thing. But everything else was great. Friendly service, nice pool, good breakfast, convenient location, pet friendly, nicely updated. I would stay again when in the area."
