"My primary provider, Helen Migwi, I wonderful. CHI Franciscan is not.. they apparently got hacked on Oct.2. Today is Oct 15th. Private patient data may have been stolen, which they have not notified us. But, they will not make an apointment for my husband who is having severe back pain. His insurance requires a referral to see any other specialist or a chiropractor. He has called and even gone to the office to ask for this referral or an apt. They will do neither. They will not help him. Because their computer system is down, and they cannot. However there were patients in the office being seen. 14 days my husband has been attempting to get care from the only ones that his insurance will cover and are supposed to be there. They accepted being his primary care doctor. He is in pain. CHI does not seem to care. Unacceptable! 14 days with no resolution in sight! We will find another primary care doctor I highly recommend you find another institution and office."

"This clinic is special! The minute you walk in the staff greets you in a friendly manner and makes you feel comfortable. I have never had to wait more than 15 minutes to see my Dr Velasco or have lab work done. Dr Velasco is a patient man who listen well and answers your questions in a direct manner. I have had much success in maintaining a better health by using the many options that are available in the Franciscan network."

"Worst office I’ve ever been to in my life. They literally will charge up any and everything like crazy just for a short visit and barely give any assistance. Never in my life have I had a company contact me for a “debt” when the bill wasn’t even due yet!!! Not to mention they‘ve tried to TRIPLE charge my husband for one visit (yes, triple). Would not recommend, go far FAR away from this place . Absolutely disgusting ."

"I've been going to this clinic for about 5 or 6 years, and I've always been very happy with the care I receive. I'm GLAD they use referrals to specialists as needed. I see a GP as providing basic medical care encompassing the whole body, whereas a specialist is expert in a particular function and body system. I prefer an expert when I have something more than a basic problem to be diagnosed. Dr Orencia and Ashley know me now after this many years, and it's a comfortable feeling to not have to repeat medical history to someone different every time. Sometimes it's taken a little longer to get an appointment than I would've liked, and sometimes I've had to wait more than 15 minutes after checking in , to be seen. That's happened maybe 3 times in the years I've been going there, but I figure medical people get sick too, and we sure don't want them seeing us when they're sick, so they need to stay home just like the rest of us. I'll soon be moving out of the immediate area, but I will drive the extra distance to continue going to this clinic."

"I am honestly confused at what happened, Me and my husband both had a appointment with Estrelino Velasco, M.D. on the same day. My husbands earlier in the day then mine. The first appointment went well he seemed nice and attentive he listened to all my husbands problems and generally helped him. Come back 4 hours later for my appointment and it was like a totally different doctor, he stood with his back to me most of the time, when I brought up my weight loss and loss of appetite which has been foremost on my mind, he blew it off , never talked about it , or how it effected me. I felt like I was bothering him, he was more interested in changing a medicine that I spent 4 years finding that treated my symptoms and that causes me no ill effects and I have been on for a year problem free just so he could see the cause. Currently looking for a new doctor. Update: My husband decided to give the clinic a second chance, After Estrelino Velasco, MD changed his dosage on his diabetes meds with out telling him, he was unfairly punished for being a few minutes late, sorry 8 minutes late for appointment does not mean you sit there for a extra hour. Don't dare complain, how dare you complain to them. This place is the Comcast of Doctors Clinics, your appointment time is not set for that time, its a window."
