"It seems like the people that work here really hate their job. I don’t know why they’re working in pediatric care if they don’t have the compassion and patience for those going through a tough time. They treat people like they’re stupid, instead of understanding that if their kid is in the ER, their minds are probably all over the place and not all there. I see the person responding to these negative reviews saying they’re taking notes to improve but what exactly are you doing to improve? You have a 3 star rating on Google, you can’t possibly think this place provides great care. Does this not concern you enough to make these changes NOW? When it involves our kids, we deserve better from you."

"7 hrs waiting in the waiting room for the room with a 3 month old baby with cardiac issues who needed immediate ECO test. Baby is sick and needs ECO test because of high risk heart failure. Ridiculous and no one cares. They don't deserve even a 1 star. No respect and would choose whoever they wanted to room. Made my son the last patient to be seen."

"We’ve been in the ER since around 9pm last night, it’s currently 3:05am and still haven’t been seen. They rechecked our baby’s vitals an hour ago but have not called us in. There were other patients seen prior to us even if they’ve checked in after us. We should’ve went to Puyallup’s or even St. Jo’s Mary bridge ER. My 4 month old has a possibility of internal bleeding and these guys are taking this lightly.."

"For the most part the hospital isn’t bad but there communication with family’s SUCK. They sent us home and never called to tell us our daughter was COVID positive. If I didn’t have the portal I would have never knew! And than they wonder why people are randomly sick because no one is getting told they have COVID and to stay home. Staff needs to step up on there communication. Also thought it was strange that they had a camera in the patients room. Especially because kids get dressed and undressed and tests on there groin ext. super strange to me. Like is that not breaking hippa ? Anyways yeah I tried calling the ER and you can’t get through either which is not a surprise"

"My daughter has required medical attention more than once. The staff is friendly, the doctors are knowledgeable and the wait time in that Childrens ER is reasonable. Pharmacy is conveniently located however, parking is atrocious and you are surrounded by regular visitors using the Tacoma General hospital. It's a hospital within the hospital. Our experience has been wonderful and we will continue to take her there."
