"I’ve been seeing Sydni, their ARNP for years, & haven’t had anything but positive experiences. The thing I like the most about her is that she always listens, I never feel rushed, & she always answers any questions I may have. Her nurse is also very kind, & extremely helpful. Their patient portal makes it very easy to check lab results, see your balance, & to leave messages for her nurse, who always immediately gets back to me. In fact this is the 1st & only doctors office I’ve ever been to who actually reads my messages & replies in such a quick manner. To me that’s a HUGE +, & IMO, they should be commended for doing so. PCNW also has their own lab, & their phlebotomists are absolutely the best I’ve ever encountered. I have terrible veins & have had numerous failed blood draw attempts at other Drs & hospitals. I have yet to have one failed attempt, they always get me on the first try, & it’s never been painful. On the other hand, I have had issues w/their billing department, including being told I had an outstanding balance, which I knew for a fact I did not. Copays are due at time of service, & I had seen Sydni multiple times prior to being told about the balance. Then out of the blue I was told I wouldn’t be able to make an appointment until my balance was paid, yet my patient portal info stated my balance was $0. I was then told my account was actually turned over to a collection agency! I never received any bill from PCNW, nor any collections agency. Finally I spoke w/a very nice receptionist, & I explained my situation regarding not being able to schedule an appointment, yet haven’t received a bill w/an amount to pay. She looked into my supposed balance, & she stated she did not see any amount due, & she scheduled an appointment to see Sydni. I still do not know what exactly happened."
"I needed to establish care quickly and get a couple issues addressed. I saw Sarah White, MD within a couple days of my first phone call. I was immediately comfortable with her and all the staff. Lisa got my referrals approved that day. I am very happy I chose Primary Care Northwest."
"I first came to Primary Care Northwest a few years ago. I was very happy with the first ARNP they placed me with. I called one day to schedule an appointment with her and the receptionist just cut me off and said “yeah she isn’t with us any longer I’ll set an you an appointment with Sydni Wright”. I was not pleased with this. But I bit my tongue and saw Sydni. I will say it took a couple of visits but I came around to her. She is nice and makes you feel at ease and I truly feel that she cares. Besides that the office leaves much to be desired. I was considering staying as I got comfortable with Sydni and am happy with her but I’ve had a very hard time getting in touch with her when I really needed to, now two times. Doesn’t seem like a lot but when you desperately need your medication and can’t get in touch with the one who can help it becomes nerve wracking. I will be looking for new primary for sure."
"This practice has a high turnover. I have been a patient for about 20 years and my primary care physician has changed several times. Now, just when I started to get comfortable with a new one Sydney Wright Dr. Weatherby tells me I cant see her anymore because I have seen a few other doctors in the clinic for other things. I have done this since Sydney is hard you get an appointment with (she only works 4 days a week). Acvording to the front desk there was a note that said I was Not to see female doctors. I had always seen female doctors as they seem to listen better. I have no idea why this note was in there. I am Not some creepy dude who harasses women. I am happily married. Dr. Weatherby lied to me and told me it was because of Not seeing Sydney regularly through I saw her the most and her nurse Christy has known me for years. Christy did Not respond to my messages either. Oh, and speaking of Dr. Weatherby, he talks so fast that you can barely understand him and boy is he in a hurry to make a diagnoses and get you in and out if there as soon as he can. Very unprofessional in my opinion. This and the fact that during a conversation with Dr. Bateman about back pain last year where he said twice "this is above my pay grade" two times during a conversation I have decided to change clinics. In fact I am going to be traveling from Tacoma to Kent to see Dr. Gia Hemmen who was one of the doctors they had at one point and let go. This lady is amazing and will even call you check up in you at home! One good thing about Primary Care NW is their lab employees..esp. Mark. They are very nice and make getting a needle in you are môre pleasant experience. This clinic uses to be awesome. Not sure what has happened as of late but I can see I am Not the only one jumping ship. I know they have some good people there and I hope they get it turned around however I am tired of the lies, unprofessionalism and won't be there to see it."
"Ive gone to primary care northwest for a few visits. I was seen by Dr. Bateman who was very thorough and listens will. Another appointment I had was with McBride who also seemed good. My problem is more with scheduling. Both times I called to make an appointment recently for a physical checkup they do not have any appointments available for 2 months. I will need to get another PCP who can actual see patients in a timely manner. The only other complaint is with the receptionist. I requested a copy of my EKG for my records multiple times and never received it. Also several years ago I called to make an appointment regarding intermittent chest pain. The staff later apologized for not advising me to go to the ED/urgent care for my symptoms. This could have been a big blunder if somebody was actually having an acute myocardial infarction."
