"Ive had several Drs before I got my PCP, but once you are established the care is great. Always feel confident after leaving in the care I got."
"The woman setting up my appointment was so lovely and helpful. I have had so-so care from my doctors so far. Rest of staff very kind. Hard to get them to go beyond the IUD implant to actual issues, but at least I got my IUD. To draw my blood, it requires ultrasound, so I very rarely get the blood work I need. We'll see at my next appointment."
"We really like our primary care physician, but I feel like the front desk staff does not have respect for patients time. There is always a long wait. Last year after checking in my child for a specific vaccination, I was told about 1.5 hours later that they didn’t have the vaccine in stock. Yesterday I took my child out of school to see a doctor for her athletic injury. We got stuck in a very unusual hail storm. The weather changed from sunny to 4-5 inches of hail on the ground. I called scheduling, was told to still go to the office. We ended up being late for our appointment due to all the storm related craziness on the road, and had to reschedule. From the years of experience with this office, we would not likely have been seeing within that time interval, had the extreme weather not kept us late. Now the child has to wait for another month."
"I would say that my experience is a tale of two insurance coverages. I'm in a contracted work situation so I'm covered on my employer's medical plan when I'm working, but when I'm not, I use Medicaid. And, boy can you tell a difference in quality of service towards you. It's glaring here and not for the better. Responses to inquiries are slower through their Portal(similar to MyChart), encounters with your PCP are minimal and short when you do have an appointment and there's a big lapse in bedside manner. My suggestion would be to call your managed care company (Molina, Coordinated Care, Amerigroup, United Health Care, Community Health Plan of WA)if you are on Apple Health/Medicaid and find a PCP(good luck)who's not a part of these, what I call Affordable Care Act drive-thrus..."
"Dr Susan Powell might be the best doctor I've ever met. She is kind and caring, and never makes you feel like she's rushing through your appointment, or has better or more important things to do; even when you're her last appt of the day, and she (probably) just wants to go home. She's pretty great."
