"Chelsea Deaconson consistently goes above and beyond to support my son and me on our autism journey. I can not express the extent of the positive impact her involvement has been and the depths to which I depend on her consult. I can’t imagine where we would be without her influence and support."
"My child has been attending the DuPont location for the past 3 years. The staff is very communicative, receptive and has a positive attitude. I have witnessed my child grow and flourish since starting services at this location."
"I have had my child going to this clinic for 6 months, and I have not had a full week go by without an rbt canceling. Now a therapist has quit and it will take 2 months to hire a replacement, all while the clinic is accepting new clients. They make scheduling promises they can’t keep. If I could go back in time I would pick any other clinic."
"This review is regarding the Dupont location. This facility did not meet my son’s needs nor my needs as a parent. I was disappointed with his sessions with a particular therapist (behavior technician). My 4-year-old son is not fully potty-trained and was not taken on potty breaks during his sessions even though I specified that this was an area he needed help in. When I would pick him up afterwards, his pull-up diaper would be soiled and very bulky; this was very upsetting to me. My child’s behavior became worse while he was there (more tantrums/aggression) when he normally had minimal to no problems beforehand while in school. The behavior tech was neglectful, indifferent, and I feel she didn’t have a nurturing spirit for a person working with autistic children. Also, a major concern is that their front entrance is not secure. Any person or child can freely walk in and out of the door. There is no help desk clerk or administrative assistant permanently present to check in with or watch the door for safekeeping which made me extremely uncomfortable. My husband and I ended up taking our son out of this center because of these problems. I felt it was important that I disclose this information for any mothers like me who just want to make sure their child is in good hands and won’t settle for anything less. I truly hope they improve the center’s security and are more attentive to the care of each child. I also would tell this facility to please keep in mind the Autism phrase “Different, Not Less”."
