"This is a great city park with commanding views of The Dalles and the Columbia River. However, pine beetle killed, or was going to kill all of the mature pine trees in the park so they were cut down and removed. No longer is the park largely shady, it is now baked in the sun. Yes, there are a few trees left, and there is a Pavillion for shade, but it's just not the same... still a nice park, but I miss the trees."

"Great playground for all ages, castle style wooden park with swings, slides, balance beams and tires. Huge expansive lawn, plenty of spots to picnic. Awesome views! We spent a little over an hour playing here, would recommend!"

"Fun place. They even have a new workout place built right beside the park, even has a board with instructions."

"Beautiful, well-kept, wonderful for a weekday family gathering! Hilltop play structure was a hit with my seven year-old great. My issue was no soap in the ladies room. An 8-1/2 x 11 sign stated "Wash Your Hands". It also stated that the restrooms are cleaned twice daily. Clearly no one has checked the hand soap dispenser since the weekend or possibly the supply has been depleted and none available to replace it."

"A fantastic playground with lots of different apparatus including swings, ramps, climbers. Decent views as well, with a good path to jog around the park also."
