"My daughter was born at this hospital in the spring 2023 and my prenatal care was amazing. I would work with multiple Dr's but I did not mind that, they were all really great and heard any concerns or questions I might have had. When it came to the night when my daughter was born, I was initially turned away due to not being dilated enough despite having strong contractions - but low and behold I returned just an hour later ready to have her. Our nurse was AMAZING at getting me through everything leading up to getting ready to push. I felt safe, supported and heard. The next round of nurses took great care of us and would check in to ask if baby or myself needed anything. We were out of there the following day before having to spend a weekend at the hospital. Thank you Providence!"
"STAY AWAY! Incompetent, uncaring, and overall shockingly bad care. doctors refuse to run tests, even at requests, and forget that that it’s their very job. In fact, I’m working on a lawsuit. Better off driving to Portland where they might give a damn. By refusing to listen to my mothers concerns and request to run tests, she nearly died. Please god, save your own life and go somewhere else. I cannot say this enough. Providence should be shut down or a complete restaffing."
"I had my 1st ever visit to an ER as an adult last night, early evening. The ER doctor was friendly, knowledgeable, thorough, relaxed, unhurried and efficient. Tonya transferred me and she is just an Angel, easing my anxieties. For a hospital visit, it was a very good experience."
"Well the hospital got a new lab company and it sucks! Not only did the local team lost their job, they brought in folks from out of town that have to be put up in motels. Don’t know the reason for this but it is not good. I had labs done there for years and I never had a bad experience. Now the wait time is around 1hour! Ridiculous"
"My complaint is not towards the nurse or doctor. We love providence and the emergency room staff. However housekeeping needs help. I was brought back to a room with my 1 year old son today and I sat him down on the bed. I noticed a ripped glove, crumbs, reddish and brown marks all over the draw sheet, the pillow and a huge wet spot in the pillow. I did touch the marks and they weren’t “stains”. I could clearly feel they were raised so obviously it hadn’t been laundered. I touched it because I can wash my hands with hot water and soap and I wanted to know what was all over the bed my baby was expected to lay on. There was also meds by the computer when we walked in that I don’t think were ours because they had been in there when we first arrived into the room. I did kindly and nicely mention it and the person I mentioned it too apologized but kept telling me it was a clean room and the pillow must be wet from being wiped down…okay…but also there’s a thicker raised brown mark on the same pillow, crumbs all over the bed and a ripped glove? I was going to fill out a comment card but I didn’t get one. Again this is not to do with our nurses or doctor! They are all so caring and great."
