"It's been 50/50 for me so far.. will find out better w/3rd Dr/clinic experience"
"I will begin with praising Dr. Lauder and his surgical team for their expert repair of my badly dislocated cmc joint in my right hand. The office staff that helped me along this arduous recovery have been mostly professional and helpful when I've needed them until today. I have been on the phone with the team 3 times since Friday, January 19th attempting to have a form filled out to meet an obligation to the Washington state unemployment office in regards to a new claim I've filed after my return to a very slow work environment. On that date, I paid their document fee and was assured it would be handled. The deadline for this document is today. Yesterday (1/23), I reached their operator and was essentially shrugged off and told to call back today. I called back today, and after waiting several hours for a call back, a nurse assured me the form would be completed and sent back to me through their portal. As of their office closing, this has not happened. I am now in a position in which I have to beg the unemployment office for an extension because I just wasn't important enough for these people to help in a timely manner. Once again, Dr. Lauder and his team are amazing, but the administrative side of this business shows to be lacking in my experience. I'm not some free loading entitled moron. I've worked with my hands my entire life, building and installing the hvac systems that serve many hospitals, operating rooms, and clinics such as the one these folks operate out of. I have fantastic health insurance from my union, but as a result of my injury and these recent events in dealing with longview's administrative staff, I've been placed in quite a bad position financially. I hold out hope that they will figure it out and make an adjustment to their handling of situations like the one I currently find myself in, but I'm quite unimpressed currently."
"I had injured my knee at work in 2022 had to have surgery, when I went to see the doctor Kung the office staff was very rude treated me like I was trash, the nurses in the back was so mean like I was faking it was unkind, the Dr Kung never took the time to listen to me bed side manners was bad it's been over a year and still having problems having trouble walking have to use a cane its better to go out of town then go there"
"It is unusual to be called for your appointment before the specified time. I arrived 30 minutes early and checked in immediately. Not 10 minutes went by, and I was called in to get x-rays. 5 minutes later, I was in the exam room. 5 minutes after that the doc entered and went right to business. After explaining the treatment options, I made my decision and was told it was in the insurance's hands for approval and afterwards, an appointment would be made for an out-patient surgery. Can you say "EFFICIENCY"!!!! We will see how the follow up happens but so far, I am extremely happy because I am tired of feeling pain."
"Dr. Kung replaced my knee 22 months ago, from day 1 I knew something wasn't right. I was in the office on several occasions I feel he just blew me off and sent me to more PT, WHICH made the pain worse.Dr. Kung you have the worst post op care, you always seem to be in a hurry and you do not listen. I suffered for almost 2 years until I went else where. Here is that outcome. I had a second surgery to have my knee removed.I had an infection in the joint, more than likley aquired during the first surgery, the knee was not cemented and or placed well. It became so loose that my new surgeon had no trouble removing it,and all the while eating away at my bone. I suffered " significant bone loss witch could result in reconstructive surgery. My new knee is temporary filled with antibiotics, came home with 2 very strong antibiotics home infusions twice daily 2 blood draws weekly, minimal weight bearing, After all of this there will be more tests labs knee aspirations After all of this, if all goes well I will have a 3rd surgery to place my new knee,2 and a half years of nightmares s cause you wouldn't listen. When you told me in preoperative that I would hate you I said no...but your right I DO."
