"Severely understaffed. The soonest available appt for my young daughter is SIX months away!!! You cannot get an appt here in under a month as an established patient even if you are very sick or in a lot of pain and need to be seen. If you ask the front desk manager to find something sooner they get upset and lack the empathy to deal with your questions. Every single time I have called for an appt they tell me to go to Urgent Care instead. This is for colds, flu, possible strep, possible sprains, etc... It's really unacceptable. The manager even told me that If I am not seen within a certain amount of time (every 12 months or so) that they remove my Primary Care provider and I have to start over as a new patient. REALLY BAD! They need to hire some more doctors and PA's. They also need to work on their customer service. I feel that they are too cheap or incompetent to do that however."
"I was under the care of Donna Horton, but she left the practice in January 2024. Donna was an amazing provider. I was scheduled to see Dr. Dutta, but got an early appointment with Dr. Mary Heady. I have never been treated so poorly by a doctor. She was unprofessional, condescending, and acted like I was wasting her time. When I brought up that she was acting like I was wasting her time and was being dismissive , she looked at me and said, "Well...". I can't comprehend why a medical profession would choose to belittle me and act so unprofessionally. I was not rude to her and clearly communicated how her treatment of me was making me feel. I can't fathom any reasonable explanation for this treatment by her. As soon as I left her examination room, I went to the front desk to file a complaint. The front desk person gave me a card and said that Diane Krop-Wolner, the clinic manager, was unavailable and to call back later. I called back later but was told that she was too busy and that the office website had a place where I could leave my complaint. I looked and couldn't find it. So, I waited for the survey email, for her visit, to appear in my inbox. And guess what? Surprisingly, it never came. So, I'm still trying to file my complaint. I can't do it in the office, because the office manager is not available, and I can't call her as she is too busy. UPDATE: Two days after I left this review, I received the survey email from VM asking about my experience with Dr. Mary Heady. It's unfortunate that I had to leave this review to get any traction on my complaint. My best advice is to go elsewhere where helping patients is a priority and doctors are caring and professional."
"Dr. Maria Nguyen was probably the worst experience coming into urgent care. She didn’t express any type of bedside manners, she waved (literally) me off when I added more information to my husband’s visit, we expressed his past experience with sports and that the pain he was feeling wasn’t anything normal to him. My husband played sports in college and is a marathon runner. When we expressed he didn’t feel like he pulled a lower back muscle (as she claimed) we were told “go home and if ibuprofen doesn’t work, go to the ER”. There was zero understanding or help in the appointment. The only reason I am giving 2 stars because before we left, we had a nurse come in and checked us out. We asked her questions regarding possible kidney stones, questions on what we should look for if the “ibuprofen doesn’t work”, any warning signs, etc. the nurse sat with us and talked to us about our worries and was more than happy to educate us on any possibilities that could arise. She even helped explained what happens during the process of passing a kidney stone and what food/drinks to stay away from in the meantime. Thankful for the nurse. Definitely didn’t appreciate the doctor."
"Wanted to make sure I left a review in regard to this medical center. Called on 11 September to get information about establishing care. The receptionist may be one of the rudest I've delt with across multiple states. The owner or clinic manager need to take a moment to read through the reviews and address this employee who works in "customer service". She is argumentative when people call with questions regarding appointments or providers. If not at least move her to a back office where she is isolated from potential patients. I assume the next part wasn't her fault but they are currently 90+ days out on establishing care which is obscene. She offered an appointment date in December with a "take it or leave it" mentality. We're looking for care now for our family of 4 somewhere else."
"This urgent care was the only in network urgent care contracted with our health insurance carrier. We made the hour and a half drive out because my husband threw out his back and couldn’t work. The doctor was incredibly rude and treated my husband like he had a drug addiction because he hurt his back. When they billed our insurance, they coded the visit as a new primary care visit so our insurance wouldn’t cover it and then sent us a bill for $400. Our insurance has reached out to them now three times and we’ve reached out as well to properly code the visit and so far our request has been denied every time. It was an urgent care visit, in the urgent care clinic. Not a new patient visit in the hospital. I don’t know why they are refusing to code the visit properly, but this whole this has been so frustrating."
