"I give 2 stars. the extra star is for my favorite staffs, I love them, helpful, friendly. If rate them individually, 5/5! And it is really easy to earn 1 star if you have your judgement upon patient, provider showing ultimate power of decisions and appointment time. Is DoD facility, and it is sad providers don' thave to treading water carefully. But there are awesome doctors there, kudos to them!"
"The pharmacy is the worst. If you have a 8 am appointment and receive a new prescription you must wait until after 1 pm to pick up? If you have an afternoon appointment you must wait until the next day. This is ridiculous and no other medical care facility has these policies. I honestly think they are just lazy. It’s common sense not to expect a prescription to be filled right away on a busy day, but what about on a slow day. The clinic can be empty and you must wait until the next day? This means a Mom with a sick child has a morning appointment and wait hours or go home then pack up the kids for another trip to the pharmacy. Or the child suffers until the next day? The pharmacy workload is disregarded in the process. Does the employee browse the internet while waiting a few hours until the patient returns. I have almost never seen more than a few people waiting on prescriptions, not like Madigan which seems always full. This does happen at VA which has at least as many patients as DOD. Who is making these ridiculous policies? Where’s the common sense in this one?"
"My entire family and I have been going here for almost 7 years. We have only had one bad experience. Between the five of us, I think we’ve seen every provider/lab tech/immunization specialist/pharmacist. Everyone is so caring and they really take the time to listen to your concerns. You’re definitely not a number here."
"Always cancels appointments. The staff is very rude. The pharmacy is unbelievably rude and unhelpful. Literally pay to go somewhere else cuz the pharmacy is horrible. The staff here is horrible. The doctor we got literally cancels our appointment day of. Its impossible to even get a yearly physical done for the kids cuz the keep canceling appointment. I been told to go to urgent care if I want help by the staff there. The only thing there I would say I'd decent is SOME of the nurses. It's super sad that they are allowed to treat people this way. I really hope someone takes this place to court cuz I know many violations including gossiping about patients. I heard it while waiting in line. Also they don't plan to change the hours on Google even though they are aware it's wrong they said people can look deeper or call.... but their call line is a answering machine."
"Providers, nurses, immunizations & labs: I have no complaints. They've been professional and cooperative. Have gotten referrals and prescriptions as needed. Pharmacy: while there is no phone line to reach them, they can be contacted via the portal. They do close an hour earlier than the clinic hours listed here. If you're having a script sent from an office elsewhere (like from a specialist at main madigan) they can't actually send it. They upload it to your patient profile. You must then contact this pharmacy (via the portal) asking them to fill it. They aren't notified that the script has been added to your profile unless you do it. All that aside, there is almost never any line and they are professional and kind. Worth the twice-as-far drive versus the pharmacy line on post."
