"I had the same experience as another review, Annalise. She gave me three months to find someone to manage my ADD meds, but getting a Psychiatrist or PCP in Olympia is next to impossible. She told me she would help bridge the gap, but did not. Rather she Told me that she can’t do for me what she didn’t do for others needing to find a Psychiatrist. Since when do we lump patients into groups? Isn’t it supposed to be individual care? I finally found someone at Swedish Medical - a PCP - who I have an appointment with in October, which is much better than three months here in Olympia. In the meantime, I’m suffering from ADD symptoms while trying to be a full time caregiver to my husband, , and starting a business. It’s not going well. My meds were managed by her for a couple years then just dropped care until I found someone else. The PCP Office at Swedish was confused as to how Harkness wouldn’t continue managing my care in the interim during a time when finding doctors that Accept your insurance is very difficult on top of a long wait. She said Psychiatrists don’t typically manage meds, rather prescribe them and rely on PCPs to prescribe them. In addition, Harkness would never ask how I was doing or check in about my other meds. My appointments were less than five minutes typically. Very cold If you’re healthy and have a straightforward illness, perhaps she’ll work. Otherwise find someone more experienced."

"I would rate much lower in front desk staffing and higher for the doctors. I think since Yesnia left they have been understaffed. I so wanted to support a woman owned health clinic, I referred many of my own clients needing a GP to them. It makes me sad to say that I would no longer recommend them. I switched my insurance over to one that they specifically said they took and then they send me a message telling me they no longer take my insurance a just over a year later. They sent a letter agreeing to helping manage my medications for three months until I found another doctor but when I called about it, the staff member I spoke with was sassy and refused to honor that. Getting my medications was a monthly hassle. The front desk staff repeatedly blamed the pharmacy, took over a week to put in basic prior authorizations, didn’t answer the phone or return voicemails and were rude on the phone. The doctor is who you go to see but your front desk is the gate keepers to so many parts of a medical office and what the public interact with first."
