"They always say that they are booked when I barely see people there I need appointment and they schedule like 3 months in advance"
"I made an appointment, came in on time and there was nobody at the reception desk! More than 5 people sitting and waiting in front of me just to be checked in- not a single employee in sight. I left!"
"Trying to get prescriptions refilled is an absolute nightmare. Staff was extremely disrespectful and I had to make several trips to the office just to get a single refill. Update: Do not book an appointment with Margo Thibodeau! Despite the fact that I have stenosis as well as bulging discs - I do not take ANY sort of opioid pain medication on a regular basis. And I'm also allergic to all NSAIDs. So, I try my best to get by with lots stretching and the occasional tylenol. However, I recently strained a muscle in my upper back and the pain has not gotten any better after nearly two weeks of resting it. So, reluctantly, I went in for an urgent care visit to get something a little stronger. And (unfortunately) was seen by Margo. She was completely unprofessional from the moment she walked in the door. Not only did she not even care to listen to my medical history but she also barely performed a physical examination. It was quite obvious by the way I was being treated that she suspected I was just there to try and get some pills like some sort of junkie. Keep in mind I was only asking for a prescription for a 2-3 days worth of medication (along with a cortisone shot to take the inflammation down). Within 5 minutes she determined there was nothing that she could do to help me and suggested I try physical therapy. Which (if she had actually bothered to read my history) she would've know that I've already gone down that road and there are no therapist's that accept my insurance in the area. Then when I mentioned that I had already explored that option with no success she scoffed at me as if to say "there's no way the system is lying so it must be you". Left feeling extremely disrespected and sad knowing that I'm probably not the first person she's done this to. Bottom line - avoid Margo Thibodeau at all costs."
"I cannot say enough good about Sea Mar. My PCP is here, and is by far the best doctor I've had. She makes time for me even when the clinic is busy, makes me feel heard, doesn't use use common medical industry stereotypes on patients, and has helped me get diagnosed with a long-term ongoing illness that other doctors dismissed. The desk staff are constantly harrassed by impatient people, but still are friendly, kind, and helpful. The clinic IS busy, and often you have to wait for a long time to see a PCP, but they mediate this with weekly walk-in times for each doctor. It can be a difficult ask, but they all clearly are working hard to ensure a huge population has medical care, and I appreciate everyone so much. Community health is an incredibly difficult industry, and I couldn't be more grateful for the entire staff."
