Summer Cove

"Such a GREAT PLAYGROUND. It's clean and right by the beach, Russell's Landing. A few years back they put in a splash area with water cannons, etc.. Gets crowded in the summer, but it's a pretty big playground so there's a lot of room and additional fields surrounding it for the kids to play unobstructed. ♥︎"

"PLEASE WEAR SHOES OR SANDALS. I luckily was wearing sandals, so was my son, and I had a fish hook stuck in it within 5mins of being in the water. Lights in the women's bathroom doesn't work, so if it's a cloudy day, it's gonna be dark. Lol. They seem to get regularly cleaned. We go at least once a week and the messes always get cleaned. A lot of people go on sunny weekends, but not too much, you can still get a good spot on the beach. The water in the splash pad isn't cold, compared to the splash pad next to the skate park and kids museum. The play ground is huge, my son loves running around. I love that it's a padded ground rather than wood chips."

"Nice little beach area with a large splash pad for the kids. Nice wooded grounds, picnic areas with nice picnic tables."

"I will say I will miss coming here with my daughter when we leave. She has so much fun here. It's easy to access the playground, splash pad and lake area. Wish they had more seating areas because it does it busy when it warms up, so don't forget to bring your own."

"Great playground with splash park and even a lake beach. My son loved this place and can’t wait to go back! The splash pad is awesome! Bathroom on site and shaded tables and benches. No real shade for playground. Great place to play."
