"Let's talk about annual regular exams for a moment, okay? I have been coming to South Sound Radiology since I had a Transvaginal Ultrasound at 40 to see if all was in working order to try and get pregnant with my 3rd and final child. The irony that I had my first mammogram later that same year after my final son was born does not escape me. 40 & 41 were interesting years for sure for me. Whenever my labs were ordered, I went in like clockwork to take care of my exams until a pandemic kicked in, and suddenly, it's been 4 years since I had a mammogram. I will say this. In the course of almost 10 years, I have received exceptional service every time. Yes, they are busy, but what medical office isn't? I was kept in the loop at all times of the costs I could entail depending on what level of exams were done and what my insurance covered. My results have always been available the NEXT day. Which is wonderful, especially if you ever have to wonder if you'll get worrisome news. Less time to allow the mind to panic. I would recommend them for sure, if you have worries about billing like other reviews seemed to comment on, then take the time to do that legwork with your insurance company prior. Communication is a two way street- the burden doesn't fall on just one party."

"My CAT scan was smooth. Billing however, has been not so great. They are in network, but had estimated me at $1000 for the scan. I called to ask why so much and they had forgotten to put in my insurance, and that my copay is $100. The day of my CAT, they wouldn’t accept my copay of &100 for some reason but said I would get a text later to pay the copay. 3 weeks later I get a bill for $1700–so I call. They tell me that my insurance information needed to be updated and that my bill was on hold. Be careful with billing at this place."

"I came here because the physicians are great BUT The billing office is a nightmare. They started me on a payment plan (I called immediately so this was not past due). I set up digital statements. They started sending paper statements and when I called and sat through the queue I still could not get that changed. Turns out the payment plan was not sufficient for the amount due so they sent me a statement demanding payment in full for an additional amount. No amount of conversation with the billing office (answered by people not speaking English natively) could get my billing statements digital nor solve the insufficient payment plan quandry. Furthermore, the only option to pay was the amount in full....which included an additional amount that would come out of my account already on the payment plan. I have great credit but feel I have little choice but to let this go until my insufficient payment plan is complete because the office of South Sound Radiology has ZERO connection with their billing office. This is in a word insufficient, and I will never go there again despite the great care I received."

"I had xrays done here after a car accident to be forwarded to a chiro. The front desk staff was super unprofessional to begin with. After a month my chiro still hadn't received the images. I emailed, called twice, and finally on my third call I got on the phone with someone. They told me I needed to come get a CD to bring to my chiro. I said I don't have time to do that and it has already been a month, then she said "nevermind, I just send them through..." ...??? Unbelievable. I will not go back here."

"Second experience with TERRIBLE wait times. I showed up at 10:05 for an abdominal ct with contrast, check in process was relatively seamless, I was then sent back to a second waiting room with some forms for ct tech, where I continued to wait for 40 minutes without anyone acknowledging my presence or giving me the smoothly prep. I went back up to the front desk and informed the receptionist that I had been waiting , she looked up my appt and said she would send a message to the desk in question, I continued to wait another 25 minutes with no acknowledgment at which time I went back to the seat turned in my paper work and left. I have used South Sound Radiology for many years and will definitely NOT be going back."
