"Despite the fact that the owner was incredibly sweet and accommodating to a last minute appointment - this was the most terrible haircut I’ve gotten. I came in for a beard trim only - which actually was pretty good. He insisted on giving me a light clean up and despite my push back - he kept pushing until I reluctantly agreed. From the first cut I knew that he literally had no idea what he was doing. The conversation through out the cut was great and he was a nice guy. I’ve never gotten so many comments from people how bad my haircut is. Even at the end he could tell I didn’t like it and said don’t worry you’ll like it in a couple days and i definitely do not. This is the worst haircut i have ever gotten and had to pay for too! I’m sure he is good at cutting short hair but the choices he made for long hair made no sense. Its not that he doesn’t know how to cut hair but he should not have tried to take on the challenge of cutting hair that he was not suited for (longer wavy hair) if all you cut is short hair for white people then stay in your lane and don’t ruin someone else hair Update: He ended up refunding me"

"Lloyd is fantastic and I'm so glad I found him. He is easily the best barber I've had and knows how to cut my hair so that it will grow well into the cut. In the 30+ years I've been getting haircuts it's always been just a question of which clipper number I used and then the barber does most of everything with it. Lloyd knows hair more than anyone I've ever met. He's also told me that he's looking to open a new barber school and I hope he can attract a lot of students because it's clear that his level of training is hard to come by these days."

He is really passionate about what he is doing, and he is also considering starting a Barber school for which I give him a wholehearted support.
