"Lady at the front desk can’t be bothered to get off her phone always rude and acts like this is the last place she’d ever want to be on earth."
"Once in a while I say to myself, “let’s try the barber at the NEX, I’ll just get a simple fade, it’s a cheaper option and fast service.” Well, once again I have remembered why I do not go to the NEX barber. Horrendous service, and an even worse haircut. If getting jabbed in the head with the razor for 10 minutes wasn’t bad enough, the fade was completely uneven and choppy, even after I asked for it to be fixed. I just took the L and left. Immediately had to schedule an appointment at a barber shop off base to fix my hair. Don’t waste your time or money, just go somewhere else."
"Affordable cut, appointments available. Gets the job done. Highly recommend making an appointment which is very easy if you just call the number on the Google search. Haircuts are $12 as of recent. All The barbers have been friendly. In and out in 15 minutes typically."
"I’ve had countless amounts of haircuts from countless amounts of barbers, and by leaps and bounds Vannak has to be the absolute worst barber I encountered. Being respectful and courteous to your client in the chair is half of the service along with the haircut. What sense does it make to argue with the client on how you can fix the haircut to satisfy the customer? Won’t be going back there."
"My wife made an appointment one month prior, when she went in for her appointment today, they informed her that her hair stylist had moved to Bremerton and he wasn’t working that day, the day her appointment was scheduled, they informed her they call every customer to let them know of any changes but she never received a phone call, voicemail or text. They also said there are no more appointments until late December. They made no amends or work arounds just “I’m sorry” and that’s it. Horrible customer service! I would recommend calling multiple times prior to your appointment to verify it’s still good because don’t expect them to let you know."
