"I’ve been coming here for years—since 2015.. This is the only salon that can cut my curly hair and leave it looking great! I tried so many others before finding Lake City Hair Salon, some of them charging $100-200 for a haircut that left me looking like Bozo the Clown. I moved to Tacoma in 2017 and still drive all the way up to Lake City to get my hair cut here because they always do such a great job! Five stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"This was my third visit, and I can say that the lady who does hair is a very good professional. Always friendly and does very good job. Price wise also affordable, and also, if you don't like waiting and there is a line, you can leave your phone number, and they call you 15 prior to your spot in line. Recommended. ------- A few years later, I moved to a different city but do not mind driving 1 hour. This is the best place."

"I love Lake City Hair Salon!! The women who work here do a fantastic job and are so kind and good hearted :). I’ve always felt comfortable coming here as a gender fluid person. The pricing is listed as gendered but I’ve always been charged based on service (just sides shaved = “mens” price; hair length cut/trimmed = “womens”) and i have never felt pressured to make any changes that I don’t want to. One time when my hair was chest length they asked if I wanted to cut it. That day I said no, which they respected. but then I went home, realized I would actually look better with shoulder length hair, and went back a few days later to cut it and tell them they were right :). They have a card machine that breaks occasionally so I always pay with cash. It’s easy to get cash in the neighborhood from bartells, BECU or Bank of America!"
