"Nice size local convenience stores that most likely will have the essentials you need. Forexample, toilet paper, paper towels baking stuff, spices/condiments, breakfast stuff, beer/wine, and even small selection of produce. I was able to find everything I needed for the house when I didn't have time to go to the actual grocery store."

"The staff is very kind until you find out that they overcharge you for stuff. They'll make the claim they don't know how to work their own register system and that the "guy who does that stuff" comes on another day. They will overcharge you. They will not care. DO NOT SHOP HERE"

"It was a great neighborhood good store. New owners need much better help. The one employee Sonny has banned me from the store because I was one of the people who actually complained because he was always on the phone with personal call when customers are waiting in line. I am handicap so this will be very interesting to see what the Better Business Bureau and my attorney says about refusing service to someone who is handicap."

"What can I say? I have lived in Tillicum for 11 years and when one thinks of a neighborhood go to store, Jay's market is the perfect example! Jay and his staff always knows your name when you walk in and makes you feel as though you are the only one in the world who matters. You aren't only a customer, but you are a good friend. My wife is Jewish, she saw a dish with the Star of David printed on it. She felt that we couldn't afford it. When we made our purchase of other things, Jay's mother came from behind the counter went to the shelf wrapped the dish in paper and GAVE it to my bride. That act of kindness brought my wife to tears. You cannot put a price tag on that kind of caring. I'll shop at Jay's before I go into Lakewood proper anytime I can!!!! CHEERS"
