"If I could give more stars I would. The place is lovely and welcoming and all the staff have been great. But the main reason I go there is Heidi who is incredible. I have a hard time finding hair stylists, partly because I am bad at explaining what I want and and roll in with expectations along the lines of “cut my hair so that I don’t have to style it whatsoever and it looks great air dried.” Heidi can magically make that happen. If she told me she was moving I’d have to seriously consider following her."

"GREAT SALON- I've gotten compliments from people I known for years, who've literally never mentioned my hair's appearance before, after getting multiple haircuts from Johnny. I've lived in Seattle for about a decade and have gone to a dozen different salons in the city. I'm half asian, so I have very straight thick black hair and finding someone who can cut straight hair for a guy can be difficult. In terms of atmosphere, BANG feels very open and welcoming, not pretentious or tense which is the vibe I get at other hair salons and barbershops. I've only been with Johnny so my review is based on my experience with him. I work in a science-related field, so I'm a very math oriented person. I described to Johnny the type of haircut I wanted, showed him some photos and he adapted the same style for the shape of my head, my texture and thickness of hair, and then he explained the geometry of how he planned to cut my hair, how it would lay in order to replicate the same look in the photos I shared. Great experience, highly recommend this place."

"I did a haircut with Ian. The 3 star is for the salon charging more than the written price of the appointment. Ian did fantastic for the haircut. Very happy with the haircut. I came at 12 for my 12 o clock appointment and they took me in at 1:25. After the haircut which ended 1:15 which is less than an hour, when I go to pay which was $89, the lady puts a $20 add on and WHEN asked, she says it’s for extra time the he put in, and says that usually it should be specialty haircut that should be charged for. This is uncalled for totally. It took less than an hour for the appointment and as mentioned in their website and still they say since he took more time. I waited for 25 mins for my appointment, how about you give us 50 percent discount on waiting for 25 mins? The previous client of his delayed and it went on for other clients. I came on time, but that doesn’t mean you directly charge a client without letting them know."

"Been coming to Heidi here for about a year now for my pixie cut! I love her, she's the best, and her ability to cut my baby fine silky hair and make it have volume and texture is literally magic. She's super kind, always asks how I'm doing and legit wants to hear my answer. She's perfected my pixie cut by listening to me talk about parts I like, parts I want to change, and offers up suggestions for new things to try without being pushy when it's out of my comfort zone. I book in advance on schedulicity because her appointments fill up about a month out, but I've also called and booked over the phone. Their staff is kind, and I feel like I could get my hair cut by anyone there and have a good experience. Cute vibe, fairly easy to park, and one of the stylists has an adorable aussie doodle that will almost always come greet you and sit next to you on the couch for pets and love. Great place, totally recommend!"
