"Just walked in for a box of screws and thought might as well throw a pair of gloves in too. I asked for the price of the items and got a total instead for everything. Not thinking I slid the card. Realized they charged me $32 for a pair of gloves and $16 for shipping and handling when I walked in and bought something from their shelf. Why are you trying to slide that S&H to an in store customer. This place is a joke"

"I have been buying from this store for just about 20 years, and they changed management. I have found their reps to be uninformed and unprofessional, except for the young lady that works there, she was very helpful. Literally any time I go in and ask about a part the first words out fo their mouth is we don't carry that. They just want to get rid of you, and they make you feel like your bothering them. I can say I will never bother them again. Maybe fastenal corporate will see this and make some changes"

"Felt like I was a major inconvenience for coming in. Apparently this guy must be the owner because anyone else would be fired. I was greeted by “What do you want.” Followed by “You won’t find that there.” After spending 20 minutes finding what I needed and going to the cash register I was told they could take cards because their internet is down. They grabbed the items away like I was going to steal them. I thought I would give them a shot but it’s back to Wurth, a bit more expensive but the service is great and they deliver."

"Customer Service Blows! They don't greet you with any kind of decency. They made me feel like I was inconveniencing them to ask for some help. As a general contractor and owning my own business I will not come back."
